Are you using a silk touch tool? If so, that's the reason they're dropping their block form.
Jay is correct. Are you breaking it with a silk touch tool?
(Not using silk touch)
What did you use to break it? I cannot produce this without using silk touch on brown or red mushrooms.
Confirmed the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
Version 1.2.13.5 (beta)
1. Create a new world and use seed 12345 location 951 79 357 to find huge mushrooms (to speed up the test)
(Due to
MCPE-31349)2. I used a diamond pickaxe and diamond axe to harvest the mushroom. (unenchanted)
3. Make sure the gamemode is in survival
4. Harvest the huge red and brown mushroom.
5. Notice the mushroom drops as the block.
