Java parity issue
Pickblocking an item, can replace your tools and/or weapons from an the hotbar. Super annoying as it sends all your tools/weapons into your inventory, instead of where they should be on the hotbar.
On java you can pickblock any item in the game, and it will never replace your tools/weapons that you have on your hotbar.

Currently in 1.9.2 this behavior DOES replace your tools in java. At least for un-enchanted diamond tools and its ANNOYING. Beyond annoying honestly. Takes all my tools and puts them in my inventory and i cant pick-block them out like i pick-blocked the blocks out of my inventory. This behavior should be made in such a way where it doesn't take my tools and instead takes the blocks in my inventory and swaps them.
I thought this was how it used to be but not im confused (AND REALLY ANNOYED) at having to constantly dig through my inventory to put my tools back in my hands.

Isn't this supposed to happen? For as long as pick lick was a thing it would replace whatever your holding with the block your looking at, and if your in survival, it would switch it out if it was in your inventory.

Only enchanted tools are not sent to the inventory in Java Edition. If the tool is not enchanted, it will be sent to the inventory.

The java behavior is much more annoying than bedrock. On java it is very annoying that you can’t replace enchanted items using pick block. It often replaces food and Messe up thr inventory. On bedrock this does not happen. On bedrock you can properly replace your enchanted items using pick block. On java often when using a fortune tool to harvested crops you often wanna replace it with a different item using pick block, but the game doesn't let you do this. On bedrock it does. Bedrock behavior of pick block is better than java.
