Shulkers, and shulker shells are not affected by the looting enchantment. What this means is you get a pathetic amount of shulker shells from killing them, and someone with looting 3 will get the same amount of shells as someone punching them to death with a potato.
This is very easy to reproduce:
Go to the end void in creative, spawn 10 shulkers on magma blocks, then go and kill 10 shulkers using looting 3. You will see that the ones on magma blocks drop more or less the exact same amount of shells. And that you also never get 2 shells from killing a shulker with looting.Take this to the extreme and get a looting 255 sword, repeat the above steps, and no addition shells will be dropped.
There are many, many, many more problems with the loot tables on bedrock, but i don't have the time to search for all the bug reports, or make them if they do not exist. If anyone is interested, i will link a video on all of them later 💖

This bug has been around for a longgg time, and it's kind of a nasty one. Not sure of the root cause, but basically due to the rate at which lava and water flow, they can touch each other, and have no reaction. No stone, no cobble, no obsidian created.
This isn't due to a lack of updates, as you can place/break blocks all around them and nothing will change. My best guess is that its due to liquids being affected by random ticks, but that doesn't really explain the no reaction.
Even just by placing water/lava on the ground, you can still get them to touch. No tricky business, so this is likely a combination of bugs.
By being slightly tricky, i was also able to get water completely surrounded by lava 😝

Occasionally

This can be easily seen with villagers, but i have also seen it happen with various other mobs as well!

When setting your spawn under ground by sleeping in a bed, you will spawn back on the surface after dying.
This happens even if your bed has air to all sides of it, and even in a 3+ tall room.
How to reproduce:
1. Hollow out a little room under ground, make sure there is room to all sides and above the bed as well.
2. Sleep in the bed, and allow it to kick you out after you have slept.
3. Die, and you will respawn on the surface.

What you can do from this point is build a pillar to sky limit on that north west block, and the next time you die, you will spawn on top of that sky pillar. At Y255 if you made it that tall.
You can also remove all the blocks on the north west corner going down to bedrock, and when you respawn at your bed you will instantly fall to your death.
So basically after you respawn at your bed once, it stops making sure where you spawn is actually safe. Leading to extremely easy ways to troll players, and get into infinite death loops.

Squids on bedrock cannot spawn in any type of river biome, only in oceans. This is different from every other version of Minecraft, where squid have always been able to spawn in rivers (parity issue).
Bedrock should be able to spawn squid in rivers for several reasons:
1. Parity, all other platforms allow this.
2. This forces players to attempt and farm squids in ocean biomes, which is an extreme amount of work, for very very little payoff.
3. Squids already spawn very rarely, and a river already has a natural perimeter around it. Allowing players to farm ink much better than in oceans.
4. Salmon overpopulation in rivers due to lack of top predators in the form of squid.The Minecraft Wiki states this info as if it where intended, but, we all know how reliable the wiki is at times. Creating a bug report is the best way to figure out if something is intended or not haha:]

Squid and all other aquatic mobs can spawn at any height in the world, from y=1 all the way up to y=255, as long as its an ocean biome. This includes squids, dolphins, turtles, drowns, tropical fish, puffer fish, cod, and salmon.
This might be fine for most aquatic mobs, but squid are only suppose to spawn from sea level (y=62) down to y=40.
How to reproduce:
1. Go above any ocean biome at world height, and build a chunk sized pool of water, as deep as you like. Make sure the bottom of the pool is made of solid, spawn-able blocks.. Nothing will spawn if the bottom is spawn proof >.>
2. Set up a repeating command to kill everything not around you:
`/kill @e[type=!player,rm=30]` this will allow things to spawn in your pool.
3. Observe as fish, dolphins and maybe even drowns spawn in the pool, at world height.You can repeat this at the bottom of the world as well, floor of your pool at y=0, and water above it(make sure there are no solid blocks above your water, or anything. That will also prevent all spawns)

Aquatic Creatures (anything that spawns in water) will not be able to spawn, if the bottom of the ocean is spawn proof. Meaning that by slabbing the ocean, you prevent all fish, squid, dolphin etc mobs from spawning in the water above.
This make sense for drowns, as they require the blocks to spawn on, so any spawn proofing would stop them from spawning. However fish, squid dolphins etc? Why should they check if the bottom of the ocean is spawn proof or not? They only need water to spawn.
How to reproduce:
1. Build a tank of water at world height, over an ocean biome. (aquatic things spawn at world height MCPE-44252)
2. Set up a repeating command to kill anything not around you, so things can spawn in your tank. `kill @e[type=!player,rm=30]`
3. Make the bottom of your tank out of stone, observe things spawning.
4. Place a layer of glass above the stone floor, kill everything in the tank, and nothing else will respawn.
5. You can replace that glass with slabs, pressure plates, signs, fences, anything you like that's not spawnable for aquatic things, and nothing will ever spawn in the tank.This typically isn't an issue, until it comes to squid farms (see image below with fence gates below water). Having any form of water, with signs or fences below it, will never allow anything to spawn in the water. This breaks about 90% of squid farms and concepts immediately. This on top of all the other issues with squids and spawning, makes getting any amount of ink in a world very very tedious indeed.

Squids are able to spawn in a single layer of water, but shortly after spawning they will suddenly take damage, and then instantly die. Doesn't seem normal or healthy for them to spontaneously die like that.
To reproduce:
1. Create a poll of water one block deep, made of all source blocks
2: Spawn squids in the pool.

I can confirm that there are indeed issues with the new villagers harvesting crops. Its not just one crop type, but all types have some issues:
Carrots: Farmer will only harvest a small fraction of what they can, usually about a 5-8 plants before stopping, even if the entire field is fully grown. They do NOT have a full inventory. They will typically harvest about 1 stack of carrots per minecraft day, from an entire fully grown field :/
Beets: These useless things actually work nearly properly, farmers harvest as much as they can.. But then they over harvest and leave beets laying on the ground everywhere.. So yeah
Wheat: Will plant after time, Won't harvest at all, not creating bread of throwing bread to other villagers.
Potatoes: Will plant, won't harvest :/
Nothing mentioned by auldrick above is an issue with my testing, and all farmers where fresh ones with empty inventories specifically for testing this.
The expected results would be normal planting, harvest as much as they can until inventory is full, create bread from wheat, and toss what excess they do not need to hungry villagers.
These are pretty serious bugs and affect many types of villager tech, especially crop farms which are a main staple of so many worlds. I hope this gets attention in the next update
Zombie pigmen, and wither skeletons do not like to pathfind through lava, or fire. Both of these mobs are fully immune to fire damage, and therefor should not have any issue with these things.
This was also a bug on java edition until 1.14~ and needs to be fixed on bedrock as well.
How to reproduce for fire:
1. Make a 2 wide line of fire around a 3x3 center area
2. Stand in the center of the 3x3, and spawn pigmen and withers on the outside of the fire.
3. Go into survival, and you will see them struggle to get past the fire, they will do it, but while they are standing in the fire, they will act like they are on fire (jumping around, spinning in circles, being dumb etc)How to reproduce for lava:
1. Replace all fire with a 2 wide moat of lava.
2. Go into survival, and agro the mobs. Neither of them will want to jump into the lava, instead needing to be pushed in. Once they are in the lava, they won't move or pathfind at all.Expected results:

Mobs (such as villagers) that are riding in a minecart, are able to control the minecart and move it along rail lines. This was a bug in java edition, but was fixed in 1.13, and should be fixed on bedrock edition as well.
How to reproduce:
1. Set up a large circle of basic rails.
2. Get a villager into a minecart on those rails.
3. Make sure the cart is not moving at all.
4. The villager should start to move the minecart on its own shortly.
5. If it doesn't, spawn a zombie nearby and the villager should roll on away. Of course make sure to kill the zombie before it attacks the villager, or nudges the cartYou can see video footage of this bug in action, along with how to reproduce here:

Mobs that try and pathfind past bamboo, just run into it and keep trying to get to their destination. They will keep on trying to walk towards where they want to go, until something happens to them, or the bamboo is broken.
How to reproduce:
1. Make a circle of grown up bamboo, with a small clearing in the middle.
2. spawn a mob (like a pig or sheep) in the center of your bamboo circle
3. The mob should try and walk out shortly, in which case it will run into the bamboo, and keep trying to go forward.
4. If you break the bamboo its caught on, you will see it continue walking to the spot it was trying to get to.Expected result:
The mob should try and pathfind around the bamboo, or not pathfind at all. Instead its using up computer resources trying to do something impossible.You can see video footage of this bug in action, along with how to reproduce here:

Mobs in general will not walk over short blocks(ones that are shorter than a full blocks, like slabs). This is a pretty easy thing to spot in survival, as lower slabs are used everywhere, so you will typically see mobs stuck on them, not walking over them, or jumping in circles on them.
This does not apply to all blocks that do not have a full hitbox, just a few.
Ones i have tested:
Lower slabs
Enchantment tables
Soul Sand
Brewing standsThis should also affect farmland and path blocks, but those have incorrect(full sized) hitboxes, so are fine in this case.
Keep in mind, mobs not walking over these blocks, is only an issue if the block has nothing below it.

In a savanna biome, its easy to find packs of llamas spawning on most blocks, above ground. blocks tested include: Stone, cobble, smooth stone, quartz, wood, iron blocks, clay, beacons.Horses:
Also in a savanna biome, you can find horses spawning on the same things llamas spawn on(as far as i have tested)Turtles:

Hoppers when transferring items, randomize the order at which the items get moved along. Aka, the hoppers are not reliably in which items they will send when.

Joining a realm you have been invited to, from the "joinable friends" tab, allows you to see world information such as: Game rules, world seed, resource packs, world name, default game mode, etc. You can also see player privileges, for all players currently in the game from the pause menu.
You can see ALL of this information, no matter what status you have as a player. Realm owner, OP, standard member, or visitor. Typically when you join a realm all of this information is hidden, even to the realm owner.
Having the game information hidden, is necessary for the life of a lot of realms that want to keep the seed private in order to avoid issues on that front. There is nothing you can do to combat this bug, absolutely nothing.
What i think is happening here, is that when you join from the joinable friends tab, bedrock thinks you are simply joining someones multiplayer world, and not an actual realm. The big thing to suggest this, is when you join from the joinable tab, you get the standard village panorama in the back round, and not the nether portal that is shown when you join realms.
All other behavior(being able to see player privileges etc) is the same as a multiplayer world too.

Needs reopened. The spoor mushrooms from creative drop brown mushrooms when mined with silk touch!
Stem blocks drop the proper blocks when mined with silk touch though.
When ever you give armor/weapons/tools to a mob (like a zombie or skeleton) either via them naturally picking it up, or using a dispenser to equip it to them, they drop the items as mob loot. As in when you kill the mob with your items, they treat it like they naturally spawned with those items. What items they do drop are highly damaged, and there is a chance they won't drop 100% of the items they have equipped.
How to reproduce:
1. Summon a zombie in a confined area

silentwisperer: Updates to the affected versions automatically send an update notification. Separately commenting that you did so is redundant.
The issues originally reported were fixed in the 1.11.0.4 Beta and the 1.11.0 release, and the ticket should be been closed at that time. Consequently, I have closing it now.
silentwisperer: You've made comments indicating that all the originally reported issues were fixed, but then you continued to update the description with additional issues. The only element they have in common is that they relate to mob spawning not working as you expect it to. That's not enough similarity to suggest that they're the same bug, especially since fixing the original issues didn't fix them. When you find new issues, please report them separately. Once we've forwarded an issue to the developers, it becomes a bug management problem to add anything to it unless it's very closely related in terms of game mechanics.
@silentwisperer Different mobs have different spawning conditions, and even if they all have a similar issue, they don't necessarily share the same code for spawning and thus should be tracked with separate tickets.
silentwisperer: I agree, and I use custom flat worlds and third-party editors myself when testing. But they can be misleading sometimes, so checking in vanilla is important.
I've reviewed the issues you mention in the updated description and your video that supports them to make a comprehensive list of the issues that still need attention, so that we can attempt to group them into bug reports appropriately. I see them as falling into the following groups:
- Mobs spawning on blocks that they shouldn't spawn on. This includes llamas spawning on cobblestone; llamas and horses spawning on stone; llamas, rabbits, and polar bears spawning on snow layers above stone; and turtles, polar bears, and rabbits spawning on stone-type blocks placed above frozen oceans. In the description you also said that cats spawn "on any block", but the video doesn't show that. I think it was an over-generalization, but see #3 below for the issue specific to cats.
- Mobs spawning underground. This includes llamas, horses, and rabbits spawning below stone. There's a complication here from the issue I discussed above in this reply to Eyeth, and which is being tracked at
MCPE-41273. Some of your test setups actually produce surface spawns instead of cave spawns,, but there wasn't enough evidence in the video to show that this was true in all cases, so we'll have to see if we can reproduce it as true cave spawns. - Cats spawning inside blocks. This is already being tracked at
MCPE-44442. - Raids not doing block checks. CornerHard confirmed this but didn't indicate whether it was intentional or a bug. We would like to have a new ticket for this, because spawning a raid is quite different from spawning a single mob or pack and the suppression of block checks could very well be intentional (though it might need some tweaking).
- Raids spawning underground. This is already being tracked at MCPE-45183. The issue with surface spawns that occur underground could also be at work here.
I'm omitting the issue of raids not taking damage on magma blocks, because you already reported that separately at MCPE-47518.
So as I see it, we would like to have a ticket created for each of numbers 1, 2, and 4.

I'v had this happen as well, with all of my worlds that i try to transfer. Even my medium and small size worlds. Which is A+ fantastic. Makes me wonder why its not still called a beta.

+justin baker I agree with EVERYTHING you just said. Not having a disable auto save feature is a very bad decision, the main reason to never play with auto save on is because of the bugs. for instance when you load up your world and it gens new terrain over all you things, you could just exit without saving. Apply this to all the game breaking bugs and everyone would have a much better time playing PE on console.

Nothing spawns in over world mob farms. If they do spawn it like 2 skeletons in a farm that gets 13K+ drops an hour (on console).

I'll have to disagree with you on this one, the frames are still producing a block update when placed, which the observer should detect as its a BUD. And this isn't really related to the other versions, i simply brought up XB1 edition and BT because they appear to have the intended behavior. There's PLENTY of other bugs with observers in those versions, which i have already reported on.

loads all the way to 99% then crashes, its a 132 mb world. Don't see an option to press y to get more info on it. Got it to transfer once, generated new stuff over everything. Since then crashed at like 30%. This is the closest i have gotten, i just want to make a public realm dammit!
Great! Sounds like we have kinda narrowed it down to storage (large amounts of chests or items) and enchanted things (books, tools etc). That should give them a pretty good idea of where to start looking into the transfer crashes. Sadly though, from what i have heard directly from helen, is that this issue isn't not a front burner issue. Meaning, its got low priority to them at the moment
You would think that they would want this fixed ASAP, as it would bring more players over to BT, meaning possibly more DLC and "minecraft coins" (or whatever they are called) sales. Also this is just kind of a major deal, to all the actual dedicated minecrafters from the Xbox One edition.

i ran a couple experiments with a xbox one world. first thing i did was transfer it, worked fine. next thing was i got about 3 double chests full of shulker boxes full of stuff. it failed that time. after that i split up the shulker boxes into just a single chest worth of them, moving them about 300 or so blocks away from each other. then i moved to an area where none of the groups were loaded. after that it did transfer properly.
Hopefully this helps a bit, seems like they are going to have to do a lot of work to transfer all these different worlds from old eras of the game and past updates. :/
Have also seen bats and witches. This happened on one of my transfered super flat testing worlds. Absolutely no nether mobs in the nether (didn't check a fortress).

Here's a world download with the same unloader i used to discover this bug. Just follow the instructions on the signs, in game, to start. After about 6 or so rounds you'll notice the the hopper doesn't pick up all the boxes.

I'v also had this happen with hoppers that do not get powered at all.
fill a double chest with none stackables, put a hopper going into the side of it, then break the double chest. a lot of items will land on/in the hopper. so that even when you empty the hopper inventory, it will still have items on top of it :/
Interesting, this defiantly seems like a bug when experiencing it in game.
Even in my system, there is time where they is no shulker box, and the hopper in un-powered. So items should get picked up. And the container being on top of a hopper thing is not entirely true, if you have a chest on top of a hopper, and throw an item at the side of the chest, it will still get picked up.
I'v also had this happen with nothing on top of the hopper :/
As i stated in my last comment, there is a much simpler way of reproducing this just by breaking a chest of shulker boxes, and having a hopper be going into the side of that chest. Items will land in/on the hopper, and when you empty the hoppers inventory, there will still be shulkers on top of it.
(off topic) There is another bug, having to do with mobs spawning on redstone in bedrock that i would like to bring to light. I made the report a long time ago, and it never got any attention. Maybe someone could take a look

Those are not issues with the world transfers, That's just how redstone in bedrock is man. If you like technical things, which it sounds like you do. Bedrock is not for you. You can do "technical" things in bedrock, but nearly all of the typical mechanics are broken. Mob spawning, random redstone and inconsistent redstone etc etc etc. Very frustrating trying to make things that are half decent in that game.
You will need to make separate bug reports for each thing, they will mark this as invalid :/
This bug is not fixed as of the latest bedrock update, contrary to the changelog.

Appears to be for surface and cave spawns. I'm testing in a normal swamp, where i know for certain slimes can spawn. After installing some lights, all spawns in the lit up areas stop. They will however spawn along the edges, where it is darker :/
This bug happens when dragons fly through end gateways, and there does not seem to be a max (have gotten 15+) Honestly a very easy bug to take advantage of, and seeing as how laggy and buggy dragons already are, this is an easy way to kill the end dimension.

Welcome to bedrock, the spawning algorithm is EXTREMELY slow. Even if you had a perfect perimeter in a void world, that hut will spawn like one a minute :/
Having lava at spawn is basically an insta spawn kill, hence why on console edition you were not able to place lava within X blocks of spawn.
Very annoying bug, happens on windows 10 as well.
I would like to add some additional information to the bug report:
Harming has a very small chance to drop armor from stands, but dropped armor will next to no durability. The item the stand is holding will never drop when killed via harming.
-this leads me to think either the rest of the armor broke, or there is a loot table similar to armored mobs in place here.
Decay potions will never drop any items when they kill an armor stand.
Fire resistance also prevents stands from burning.
Can also confirm everything else in the report above for windows 10, and 1.8.1
Along with armor stands in java 1.13.2 not getting affects from any potion type

This is more or less world corruption, best way i have found to resolve this is open up the world with world edit, go to your player data, and move your player from dimension 3 to dimension 0. This is will allow you to load the world, and you will be in the overworld.
This is a severe bug, and absolutely needs a (nice and complete) hot fix. This combined with
MCPE-41533andMCPE-19699more or less ruins the end dimension. Pretty major failure on the bug finding and fixing team here :/Luckily CtClunker was able to capture footage of this bug, in 1.9 even! Some sort of issue is still around that allows the dragon to not take damage

Recently found another way to dupe dragons, without gateways. If you bridge out to the outer end city islands, without killing the dragon, you will get another.
i was out in the cities for a while, and then a friend hopped into the end dimension to find 2 dragons, so its likely has to do with the main island being reloaded in some way.
Can confirm for the full 1.9 release. Leaving the world when in this kind of situation can lead to the problems reported in
MCPE-41513aka world corruption. Only way to get out of this situation when in game, is teleport commands :/I am not entirely sure, It very well could be a realm only issue.

MCPE-34114This can be seen in 1.9, with shearing leaves and breaking leaves with silk touch. You will get 2 different stacks, that will not combine no matter what you do. Simple grow any tree, and break half the leaves with shears, and half with silk touch on any tool.

If you break a bed, it should reset the spawn point for all players that have it set there.
However, on bedrock, you can remove the bed, and place an entirely different one in that spot. You will still spawn there.
You can even place a bed in a different orientation, with the pillow in the same spot and you will still respawn there.

Can confirm that all the information in aces comment is accurate, and this exact bug (and many other similar wither bugs) still affect 1.9, realms, windows 10, and xbox one!
There are actually a variety of bugs with withers when it comes to unloading them, dying and unloading the wither is what causes this invisible/immortal bug to happen.
To reproduce:
1. Create a normal world, hard, cheats on, simulation distance 4, and whatever else you like.
2. Lower your render distance as much as you can.
3. From world spawn go about 200 blocks past the furthest thing you can see from spawn
(we want the wither to be completely unloaded, out of render distance even)
4. Once you have found a location, spawn a wither and damage it to just over half health.
5. Once the wither is slightly above half health, do `/kill @s`
6. Slowly fly back to where you summoned the wither, and you will see it have the summon animation again. Hitting it a couple times should cause it to "die" but not play the actual death animation. After this, if done correctly you should have an invisible immortal wither.
7. Summon some chickens around to have the wither target them to prove it exists.
Optional: Set an always active repeating command to do `tp @e[type=wither] ~ ~3 ~`
and you can attempt to kill the wither using what ever means you like, its truly immortal.
That all sound confusing? It is. Took forever to figure out, and is hard to do in single player. Much easier on a realm with the minuscule render and sim distance.
I made a full video on this exploring all the bugs that happen from simply unloading the wither, if you are interested, watch it haha. Something that does not seem to be mentioned, is that throwing any type of lingering potion does not give players/mobs the effect it's suppose to. They just sit there with infinite particles, and you can only get rid of the particles using kill commands. The lingering potions never seem to give any affect :/

This is an easy bug to see when shooting shulkers that are closed, the arrows could pass right thru them or bounce off of them, and the shulker can still take damage/die if you use harming arrows. Try with crossbows as well. Weird stuff.

No, this was fixed in 1.11.
However there is still the issue of drowns having the wrong loot tables, they do not have the updated loot tables like those of java, they have the loot tables of the drowns from very early 1.13 snapshots. so any drown can drop a trident, drowns holding a trident can drop 2, and converted drowns can drop tridents as well.
I don't have a bug report link for this one, however i did cover this in bugrock if you would like more info/demo of this in action. This issue more or less makes tridents valueless.

How to reproduce:
1. Go about 40 blocks into the air, and create a little zig-zag walk way out of full blocks. On the corners place glass pillars.
2. summon a creeper on one end of the walk way, make it target you, and then walk behind one of the glass pillars.
3. You will see the creeper instantly stop, forget about you completely, and just stand there until it decides to randomly pathfind.

Off the top of my head, i know llames can spawn under ground on stone. But thats just what i have randomly noticed.
Even if this is intentional, its a pretty bad game design that allows for these never ending raids. A lot of things about raids are being re-worked at the moment (like raiders with banners no longer giving bad oman, another issue that caused infinite raids
MC-146835) and this issue should be one of those things reworked. Pretty simple fix, saves a ton of hassle for players.You raise a fair point, things like wondering traders and pillager patrols don't really do block checks either.
The patrols should purely be a surface spawn, that would solve the underground issue.

Still affects 1.11.4, this is only a realms issue. Really easy to reproduce, if you leave the game while traveling from the nether to overworld, via portal. When you log in, the overworld chunks will be missing.
"dont leave the game while in a portal, you dumb dumb" yeah well sometimes the game just won't load, and leaves you on the portal screen forever. so, no good way about it.
Keep in mind, this happens even without using a nether portal. Thats just the easiest way to have it happen.

.... Really auldrick? This report has to do with mobs not spawning on the correct blocks, both passive and hostile. This was an issue, and is still and issue, passive mobs, and hostile mobs, spawn on things they should not. Just because it different mobs throughout the updates, doesn't mean its not the same underlying issue.
I even put this in the report, stating it was fixed, but is now back again..
"Most of this bug was fixed in 1.10, passive animals needed grass to spawn, drowns needed water, and so did guardians. Now in 1.11 passive animal spawning is broken again. But the drown/guardian fix persists."

I get your point, everything you have stated is true and fair, and thank you for bringing it all up. However, this report isn't for any one specific mob or creature, the mobs listed are simply a description/example of the bug at hand. Mobs are spawning on things they should not, in places they should not. If this report is being tracked as otherwise, for just one specific issue, that fine. Should i make another report more or less the same as this one, to have it tracked correctly? Help me out here. This is a big issue, that the community clearly cares a lot about.

Not having custom super flats on bedrock, coupled with extremely slow spawning rates, makes it tedious to test in a "vanilla world" hence why i use world edit to change the biome type. It works perfectly from every test that has been thrown at it.. But i suppose a full perimeter could be made, specifically to test each issue >.<
I have seen all of these issues in "vanilla worlds", but when it comes to showing them off, or testing them, using a modified world is the only reasonable way to do so.

little note on nether raids, a lot of people i know have had them accidentally start in the nether, and due to nether terrain, they can take hours to hunt down and defeat the raid. especially with all the nether caves that are so well hidden around.
Currently raids can spawn in the end as well, but those don't seem to have any real issues, since end caves are very rare.

Thank you for looking into the code here, i expected there to not be a filter for these mobs, hence them spawning on anything. That would be the source of this issue:3 If a dev could weigh in on this, that would be great!
Words are hard haha, types are my old friend >.< My testing confirms that extreme hills is working for llamas too. Only ever got them on grass blocks. And if anything, that should be the one biome where they do spawn on stone/gravel etc lol.
The current way its set up, people who join a realm normally won't have any of this information available, where as those who join from the joinable tab, just inherently know more about the world, and what they can do. Which could be a bit of a game changer depending on what the realm is used for. Mini games, factions, pvp, puzzle maps, or just hard core survival.
Not showing realms on the joinable tab, would solve this issue for realms, since you should already need to be whitelisted on the realm to join in the first place. Not sure what you could do for normal worlds:]

This typically happen on realms, when you unload the area that the furnace is in, for longer than a couple of minutes. The stored exp in furnaces, can also be deleted by a realm reset, or when updating to a newer version!

People have smelted down double chests of stuff and gotten the exp from it. My single player testing really didn't do it justice, but i don't have a realm to do this kind of testing on. I'll talk to cornerhard, the one who programmed this feature, and see if there is any form of max limit. It should be infinite however.

I hope this bug is getting the priority it deserves, this adversely affects new players and people who are fighting the dragon for the first time. Seeing as how thats "the end" of he game, this is a massive and super frustrating issue to have.
This bug coupled with other dragon issues, causes people to more often than not give up fighting the dragon(s), go to creative to deal with it, or just straight up delete their world :/

Keep in mind that pillagers need darkness to respawn, that there is usually only a single spot where they do spawn, and that you have to be further than 24 blocks away for them to spawn.
Them needing darkness is likely the root of this issue, since they should spawn in any light level.
In 1.11 they spawned in any light level, and then in either 1.11.1, or 1.11.2 it got changed so they needed darkness. If that helps.

Can confirm on windows 10 and xbox one, in 1.12. Kind of a weird bug, has some affects on farms and contraptions that use the fishing rod. Weird how there are so many bugs with such a simple tool.
Can conform for 1.8-1.12. Actually really easy to reproduce right now, smelt cobble in a furnace, and break stone with a silk touch pick. The two stone items will not stack together no matter what you do.

Yes, still an issue in 1.12.1!
Having mobs(of all types) despawn, would help drastically with every form of mob farm, world performance, and more. Even if they didn't touch anything having to do with how mobs spawn.
