When you tap and hold to shoot eggs in Creative, you shoot eggs like a machine gun. Not sure if this happens in Survival.
What I expected to happen was...:
To shoot only one egg
What actually happened was...:
Many eggs shot repeatedly
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a Creative mode world
2. Select eggs
3. Tap and hold to throw eggs, you will throw a LOT

This is more likely a glitch
I would like it if they kept it like this! There is no reason to waste time to throw more than 1 egg!
Agree with Steve
Since Tommaso disabled the hit animation when you tap and hold, this issue is working as intended.
That was indeed a bug, sorry but this will be fixed eventually =P
It is obviously that if eggs to this, snowballs will do the same...
