MCPE-55449Golden Apples give 8 absorption hearts if eaten after enchanted golden apple
Steps to Reproduce:
- Obtain a golden apple and an enchanted golden apple
- Switch to Survival mode
- Eat the enchanted golden apple, as usual you'll get 8 extra absorption hearts
- Take some sort of damage which removes all the extra hearts
- Now eat the golden apple
Observed Results:
You get the 8 absorption hearts again which are given by enchanted golden apples.
Expected Results:
You should only get 2 absorption hearts.

Golden apples give extra yellow hearts if eaten after enchanted golden apple
So basically, take a golden apple and an enchanted golden apple
- Eat the enchanted golden apple, as usual you'll get 8 or something extra hearts
- Take some sort of damage which removes all the extra hearts
- Now eat the golden apple and Boom you'll get the hearts given by enchanted golden apples.

Still an issue in 1.16.0.68 beta.
Still hasn't been fixed in 1.14.20
Relates to
MC-88694. This also used to work on java, but it cannot be reproduced anymore when using a regular golden apple.so i ate a golden apple in my world lost the hearts log off then back on and now I have eight golden hearts. should I make a separate ticket? did creative testing actually bug not just logging off wrong.
