When you summon a NPC you can't select button mode under advanced settings
When you summoning NPC then go under advanced settings and add a command and go to button mode it should right past it and go to add command the reason why there should be fixed is because the button mode is really useful BART map makers and four People Like Us and I love that feature.

I meant to say it should go right past it for mapmakers sorry I use voice typing so sometimes it messes up I'm really sorry
Have there been updates on this issue? I'm playing on bedrock 1.16.1 on Xbox One. and the issue still persists.
Edit: if you are playing on Bedrock Edition, you can actually click the button By attaching a mouse to your Xbox, I know it's not what you want to hear but it's a work around.

When in "EDIT MODE" of an npc. (Image UpLoaded: Minecraft%2018_09_2020%209_34_56%20PM.png)
The "Button Mode" is not selectable using a controller on Xbox, also not selectable while testing on MC Windows 10 using controller. (Mouse works fine)
I can confirm this bug still lingers in 1.16.100.
