If you shoot an arrow from a bow with a Flame enchantment into water the fire goes out but if you shoot it into rain the fire is still shown on the arrow.
If you use a Resource Pack with custom splashes, the first splash on the list appears with a weird symbol in-game.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a resource pack with custom splashes.
Make 4 or 5 different lines of splashes on the splashes.txt.
Open up Minecraft on that resource pack until the first splash on the list pops up.
It has a weird symbol next to it: a ZWN BSF in a boxBelow is an example picture. In the resource pack used in the picture, the first splash is "Beef Shower!"...
Cannot RespawnSometimesCannot Respawn Outside Worldborder
If your spawnpoint is outside of a custom /worldborder barrier, then you cannot respawn after death. If you go to Title Screen and reopen the world, you will be where you last were the last time you saved. (before you died)
(Respawn works fine if your spawnpoint IS within the worldborder
Reproduce:
1. /spawnpointtocoordinates
2. /worldborder to make a worldborder that the spawnpoint is NOT included inside
3. /kill and try to respawn
There seems to be a rendering issue when looking through/behind the new text display entities. Sometimes mobs are not rendered properly when looking at the entities through the text's background. As mentioned this only happens sometimes but I have been able to reproduce fairly consistently with spawn eggs.
Upon further testing, it seems to affect tile entities too such as chests.
The command used to summon the text shown in my screenshots is:
/summon text_display ~ ~ ~ {billboard:"center",text:'{"text":"This text is blocking some entities but not others for some reason?"}'}
This seems like it could be related to
MC-197328which was Fixed a couple years ago (sorry I don't know how to link to it)

Both shot from a flame bow, the one in the water is extinguished yet the one in the rain is not.
This is still bugged in the Snapshots.
Hard to tell. Try it in the day with a roof over the skeleton, unless this bug only works at night.
Update the Affected versions. This is still messed up in 25a, b.
Still a bug in 14w32a
It's good to know that fill clocks would work. At least not all hope is lost for Captive Minecraft, its just going to need an update so that the hopper clocks are replaced

Hate to break it to you, but I think this needs to be reopened for 1.10pre1
Never mind, apparently the resources.zip requires a pack.mcmeta to be in it. This was not a requirement in 1.9 so my bad. False alarm
Correct. After downloading the Java launcher and testing this, I CAN CONFIRM that the problem only occurs if the user is attempting to join the server from the new native launcher. If you use the old java launcher you can join the server but if you use the new native launcher you will get Failed to Login: Bad Login.
