They actually changed it so big oak trees spawn 5 blocks shorter. During 15w44a all naturally generated big trees appeared 14 blocks high while now they generate only 9 blocks high. Not sure when that change was made.
@Ivan Cannot reproduce. Created a new world in 1.10.2 and was immediately met with a large number of large oak trees.

All flowers, grass, tallgrass, ferns and tall ferns are affected.
Sorry, my bad!
Can confirm for 1.10.2. For one to see this change they have to generate a new world. The way trees generate in a world doesn't change regardless of the version. The game uses the same generation that was used when creatimg the world.

Ran 1.10 and then 1.10.2 again and they it got fixed. Probably something got messed up.
After some testing I found out that it also changes every time you open any world for the first time after restarting the game and it stays the same for all the others until a new restart. I can't read the code so I can't confirm it in any technical way. However, one can recreate it by:
1) Create a new world that has a forest biome nearby
2) Wait for the chunks to load
3) Restart the game
4) Open the world and go to previously ungenerated chunks
5) See how large oak tree generation has changed (May not work if the variable randomizes to the same number)
Can confirm what Zed Ontargs said. Behavior is the same as before.
Can confirm. Both skeletons and wither skeletons are spawning everywhere in the nether.
Somebody should update the affected versions. It is importants that Mojang sees this.
The search engine didn't show me the other bug report. It is a duplicate.
It's been marked as fixed but it also affects vines, tripwire hooks and string.
Can confirm. Interesting note, crafting recipes haven't only reset but they also unlock only after the specific item has been crafted (this behaviour is present only in worlds which I've played on the previous snapshots, all other worlds seem to work fine)
That's what I was trying to explain. It seems the requirement changes from having the material needed to craft an item, to crafting the item itself. Thank you for explaining it better since my English is kinda bad. Deleting the advancement file seem to fix the problem.
