This feature is not yet implemented in pocket edition, hence this is not a bug. But they might just add it in a new beta.
Actually, they should act like in Java edition. Confirmed by Helen Angel
Confirmed on 1.1 / iOS. While pistons and moving slime blocks should be able to push glazed terracotta, those blocks should not be able to pull them. But on 1.1 they can still pull those blocks, which is the bug.
This bug still affects 1.2.0.22 on Windows 10
This bug still affects 1.2.0.25. However, it is now partially functional. Adjacent glazed terracotta blocks are still pushed by slime blocks, but they are no longer pulled by them. Attached a video to demonstrate. MCPE Glazed Terracota Bug.mp4
What is really weird is that if the slime blocks are chained such that the glazed terracotta is pushed when the piston pulls then the block is immovable. When the piston pushes then the glazed terracotta is pulled still.
Yes, seems the devs created a condition where they could universally be pushed so long as the piston head was pushing in order to allow them to be pushed directly by slime blocks, but that had the unintended side effect of "pushing" the blocks when they should not be.
Honestly, I really like the way it is now like this. So much potential for cool things that may not be possible when it works properly, but it is a bug.
Glazed terracotta blocks stick to slime blocks when the piston is extending but not when retracting.
I think this is due to glazed terracotta blocks used the same code as immovable blocks (e.g. obsidian) when is being pulled; and uses the same code for movable blocks when pushed to make the slippery effect. (Seems like they forgot about slime blocks)
Fixed in 1.2.13.5 (1.2.13 Beta Build).
