WEB-4819My Minecraft version is 1.4.2, which is NOT LISTED. My attempts at searching led be OLD map issues, and NOT to my current stuck white locator, and blank parchment rendering on maps. Your user interface is wearisome! No doubt, you are used to navigating it. I just do not have hours of time to make you system work for me. It is UNREASONABLE to expect me to spend more that 15 to 30 minutes searching. I will do that. In the past, I have gotten invalid, or resolved as responses, to ongoing issues. You have been quite useless in the past. The only real useful responses have come from Pixel Heads and Imagiverse, on YouTube! At the Minecraft forum, others have posted that all current map issues have been merged at Jira. At Jira, several weeks ago, I did find mention of lack of centering, related to moving a map to the other hand. I do not usually move maps to a different hand, so that is not MY issue. My issue is that making maps, and posting them to a map world, is a MAJOR part of every Minecraft World and game I create! The so-called vanilla Minecraft is VERY BORING to me. My main Worlds are purchased from the Minecraft Store. Shame on Minecraft, Mojang, Xbox, etc for forcing updates upon users before developers have a change to PREVENT the damage that happens! If there is a report on fixing MY map issues, please post it a format that is easy to see, and a place that is easy to find.
I attempted to replace current World on my purchased Realm, at least 3 times. The upload starts, then hangs up. My only option is to cancel. The world is small, 11 - 13 MB. Haunted Swamp Mansion. have posted this as a comment on YouTube for the Minecraft video of this game/world/map/pack. I have noticed difficulty in some YouTube videos, for placing these books, requiring multiple attempts. But in those videos, EVENTUALLY, it finally worked. NOT IN MY CASE. So this report is not after only a few minutes of trying. This report is after an unacceptable few HOURS of trying. Annette Knobloch, please do not use the bug tracker as a communication forum, particularly on tickets closed 6 years ago like this. The preferred place for discussions would be, for instance, on the mojira subreddit. Please also note that the support center and account support are run by Mojang directly, while the bug tracker is maintained predominantly by community volunteers.
I agree with the gist of the above comment! This bug reporting system needs improvement, including the ability to address several issues in one communication.
What does awaiting-confirmation mean? And from whom? Am I supposed to confirm something?
I already tried that multiple times. The Realm is mine. At opening, I do get a message: Loading resource packs. The props (Chairs-maybe husks. candlestands-maybe pigmen, etc). still look like the intended props, but are running wild. The Ice Dragons (chickens) have chicken behavior. The Fire Dragons (bats) are now bat-sized, and have bat behaviors. The mobs are running amok! It is useless for me to keep repeating what I have done multiple times. There is something WRONG at your end! Please fix it.

Thanks. I had a new, working game, with a some additional work done within it (Castles and Dragons). I replaced the previous glitched world with the working world. a pop up statement did day Resources loaded. But the same and worse glitches happened! Even worse, when I went out of the Realm, and back to that world, it was no longer working. I don't remember if I reverted to a working backup of that game, or if I got out altogether, then back in to Minecraft. On the Edit icon, I was able to go back in. The Resourses button led to nothing, but the Behavior button led to a screen where the Castles and Dragons resources did show up, and could be added.I am getting frequent messages, when signing in to Minecraft, uploading pack# of # of packs. Daily, and sometimes more than once per day.
Please explain the discrepancy between version option at this site (1.5.14), and what I see as my version 1.5.0! For over a year now, whenever I come to this site, there is a discrepancy between the drop down version option, and what I see on my screen.
This was in individual play, not multi, and not on a Realm. Sealantians has at least one underground area with complex sets of Command Blocks. Perhaps I broke something some, or added something somewhere, that is in conflict with some kind of teleport of items to and from locations, and/or in conflict with programmed events in Adventure Mode.
I hope the Realms section pays attention. Problems with packs are usual in Realms, not unusual. Especially after updates. I also have a question. Are the Resource file names in Settings, Storage identifiable by title, or by lengthy alphanumeric file names?
Were is the Settings, Storage folder located??? I do not see that in Settings, in Windows.
So, I need two answers: Were can I find Settings, Storage? How will I be able to identify the files?
It is very difficult to get direct assistance at Mojang. The online request help does result in an email from a support person, who states that support can help with account issues. The advice is usually to contact the developer, or to report to the bug site. There is usually an endless loop, with no resolution. The developers are usually very helpful, but sometimes the root of the problem is a true Minecraft issue, and not something the developers fix. When developers can fix something, they do!
Is there a drop down option to find the Realm Section, at this bug site?

Settings, Storage in Minecraft. Thanks, yes, I found. I have not previously noticed that button! On the right side, I see four buttons: Worlds, World Templates, Resource Packs, and Cached Data.
The Resource Packs listings are by name, for the overarching template.
The Cached Data does not make much sense. The names do not give a clue for what each listing is linked to.
The Cached Data button has a yellow exclamation point. What does that mean????
There are two small rows, each with a check box, in a square, at the upper right corner. Clicking on that produces a Delete button at the bottom. I don't know if it does anything else.
There is type-bar above the four buttons on the right. What is that for? I thought, perhaps to search, but that produced nonsense.
Mojang/Minecraft/Microsoft/Xbox need to incorporate pop-up explanations or links to explanations for these screens and buttons in Minecraft. Why is there a yellow exclamation point there? What is the type-in bar for, if it produces only nonsense? I may or may not directly contact Mojang. First, there is no direct contact with Mojang, only indirect. Second, the online form: I have completed and sent the form many times, for many issues. The response is consistent: their support is only for account issues. Even for account issues, it took about month of back and forth, repeated contacting and questions, to resolve issues with my two Java downloads, during the time of Better Together chaos. Otherwise, their advice is to report to the bug site! So there is an endless loop, and wasted time, for non-resolution.

Computer: Windows 10. If I keep digging, from the listings of OGG files, in the respective music folders, I can guess the name of the Minecraft Store item (World or Mash) from the music file names. But only for A FEW! For example, if the file names contain Norse, any Greek mythic name, Egyptian, Chinese, or pirate, then I can intuit the source World template.
For -8AHAMNFBAA= folder, the music file names have no recognizable wording to enable one to guess the overarching World.
After a Realm fails to utilize, apply, Resource and Behavior Packs, those packs also disappear from the source world, on my individual device. For a more recent world, Farms by Shapescape, I am not able to reapply the Realms to that source World. The packs are missing from Available..

Your system is not making sense. I see Resolved. Whether or not there were duplicate reports, the issue is NOT resolved! I need a Minecraft Developer, for the Minecraft Ducktales template/world/map to contact me. This person must be familiar with the .mcfunction files in that template/world/map. Minecraft is listed as the developper, so this is not a case where I can contact external developpers! The issue is the same. .mcfunction files that are supposed be readable by text programs, such as Notepad or Word Pad, open as unintelligible symbols and characters! I need a Minecraft Ducktale developper who created these files to deal with this issue and to communicate with me. For example, is the file in an Asian or Arabic language? If so, why do I not have an English version?? Is this a true bug, or is this a proprietary matter, such that the developpers deliberately made these files to open as nonsense, for proprietary, profit-related reasons? If proprietary encryption is the problem here, the next thing to be fixed is that statements must be added to minecraft.gamepedia and digminecraft.com to make it clear that developpers may have set encriptions such that these files can NOT be open by a text reader program, or application, such as Notepad or Wordpad. Is there a bug? Or is this a deliberate blockage??? I need a person who has knowledge and experience in this matter, and that person is a Minecraft developer involved in creating these files for Minecraft Ducktales!

Next, if the files are intentionally encrypted, then that SHOULD BE STATED in information at sources, such as any official Minecraft, Mojang sites, and gamepedia.minecraft.com and digminecraft.com !!! This is NOT invalid! My purchased skins have disappeared frequently for about 3 months. And today, they are more disappeared than ever! What do you mean issue with the server??? Who is fixing it? I am looking for what is the cause, and what is being done to fix it. 'Invalid' is not acceptable here!
Is the Mojang Support Center responding??? Is there ANY communication between the bug people and the Support people??? There needs to be dialog between both departments! Something major has disrupted game play!
Why are you still waiting for a response??? I am trying to access my 2 purhcased Java Minecraft programs, and my games & content I created in those programs. The new sign-in mechanism has now been in place several days. Every attempt at getting to my content results in Demo, only. I don't want a 5-day Demo. I want my purchased content and created games to OPEN. In several attempts, I got to a screen that said if you already have the program, download it again. I tried that several times. I have contacted Minecraft Help <support@minecrafthelp.zendesk.com> , who replied that it looks like I can only see Demo version. I already knew that! That solved NOTHING. The anonymous Zendesk person, or artificial intelligence, asked for transaction info, and I SENT transaction info. NO ADDITIONAL RESPONSE from zendesk.... Look at my video. Still NOT resolved. So, if the new Sign In is not the problem, could 16.5 be the problem??? I do have other Worlds in my Saves folder. They will NOT open. What about the Forge, and other add ons, that worked in 16.4??? What are the know issues with 16.5, regarding add ons, such as Pam's Harvest, etc.

It is NOT resolved! It has happened repeatedly since 1.16.221! Here is the definition of resolved: Resolved means FIXED, and that Minecraft will NOT crash when I use fill, setblock, clone commands in Safari World and Legendary Seas by Minecraft. Resolved MEANS that the CRASHES STOP, and that I CAN USE THE COMMANDS. So when will this REALLY BE RESOLVED???? I went to the link for this issue as previously reported, and I have more comments: 1) the issue is STILL Happening in 1.16.221; 2) Several other persons have commented that this issue is NOT resolved, and STILL OCCURS.

So what does this mean, and how are users supposed to know this??? The Settings button is STILL CLEARLY VISIBLE. And the options settings are TOTALLY BLACKED OUT. I am going on 3 hours of dealing with this. So now I am supposed to try a wild goose hunt for a gear icon??? Shame on programmers and any persons responsible for the deployment of this change. Very irresponsible, from a user perspective.
I opened Minecraft again, and on the setting screen, I see across the top of the screen, gray bar, left side Settings. Right side Game Settings. The right hand column contains major headings, but the specific options are totally blacked out. The sliding buttons are visible, but stuck. There is no Gear Button.
Skins for recent games from the Marketplace are NOT loading when I am in Minecraft. They can be 'equipped' at the Marketplace, but are NOT accessible during gameplay. I think this started at 1.17.1, or 1..17.2 , but I don't change skins often. So it could have been sooner. Developers have told me that this is a Minecraft problem. Shame on Minecraft, Mojang, and the Marketplace for the sloppy interface! Please fix!
Technical Support at Microsoft will NOT handle this issue. I am tired of "Invalid, Irrelevant, and Resolved" status regarding persistent issues that are valid, relevant, UNresolved, recurrent and persistent!
Then create another web site for issues that involve the interface and programming that are not strictly game issues. For example, there are frequent issues in the proper functioning of Minecraft, the Microsoft Store, and Microsoft and the Marketplace focus on misleading links to purchase already-owned Minecraft software and items!

I notice that Discord is listed at the link you posted in the highlighted section https://minecrafthopper.net/help/known-incompatible-software/ . Do you realize how many Minecraft developers have Discord as a communication site? Of course, this bug side is only for 'vanilla' or basic minecraft, right? Is the Overlay incompatibiity on the list limited to some kind of gaming in Discord? Does the Overlay incompatibility exist in Discord communications?

Same old run-around as in 2017 and since 2017. I see issues related to multiplayer not working for Dungeons and Dragons, Minecraft (NOT JAVA). Who fixes the Minecraft, not-Java, Bugs? I have seen the comment in Jira that this is a TECHNICAL issue, so to contact technical support. It IS AN INTERFACE ISSUE such that the Minecraft updaters, Mojang, Microsoft CONTINUE to FAIL TO MAKE THE INTERFACE work, across programming, Minecraft, DLC or Marketplace templates or Marketplace worlds — pick you jargon. According to the developers for Dungeons and Dragons, and according to multiple EXPERIENCED Minecraft YouTubers, Dungeons and Dragons gets stuck in downloading to players in Multiplay. The developers sometimes have issues when multiplay among themselves! This issue is NOT resolved!!!!!!!
Dungeons and Dragons, by Everbloom. Very large content, with alot of programming. When invited to multiplay, I on Microsoft Windows, Grandchildren invited to join (Xbox One), the downloading of resources/packs/etc starts, but gets stuck. REPEATEDLY, after multiple attempts, restarts, redownloading the game from the Marketplace, signing out, signing back in - all parties, and each time download starts, then stops after some content, but NOT all, has been downloaded. We tried multiple times, including 3 bouts of waiting 20 minutes EACH TIME during the stuck phase. So that's and HOUR of watching a non-progressing screen. But alot of time, restarting the computer, signing in, etc... You at Jira Mojang need to WORK WITH THE DEVELOPERS, TOGETHER, so that the programming works properly. Alternative: DO NOT ADVERTISE something as MULTIPLAYER when MULTIPLAY is NOT POSSIBLE!
Perhaps this issue is in the wrong place. I am referring to downloadable content, and in this case, Minecraft Bedrock/formerly & disastrously Better Together. I am talking about the INTERFACE between Templates, Games, DLC Downloadable Content, choose your favorite jargon word. In this case, I purchased the template for Dungeons & Dragons, and created a World from that template. I am on Windows 10 computer, Lenovo Thinkpad. Grandsons on Xbox One. Their Minecraft (Xbox One) basic game works, and they are also able to join in various other Marketplace Content games. Dungeons & Dragons gets stuck during download.
SO if whoever answers this thinks this is not a problem that you deal with, please find a PERSON AT Jira MOJANG who has the working knowledge of the the interelationships and mechanics for this type of thing, and have that person contact me! And work across multiple interfaces: Microsoft, Mojang, Minecraft, and Developers (Everbloom), various devices, etc.
