jonathan hale: Thank you for the information, but the issues associated with this ticket were fixed 10 months ago. The recent issues with starting the game on iOS are being tracked on a different ticket, MCPE-54465. If you'd like to leave your comment there, it would be appreciated. Note, however, that while your solution may help lots of people work around the problem, it probably isn't a general solution that solves the problem globally, Some of the known causes have already been fixed in 1.13.1, while the developers are still working on others.
jonathan hale: Performance problems are particularly difficult to quantify and to attribute to a specific cause, and they're often caused by a combination of factors that could be different from one device to another. I think it's unlikely that deleting unused worlds would have a significant effect on performance for most people, but I will leave that suggestion here because it almost certainly won't do any harm and might actually help a few people. However, I'm editing out the unnecessary emphasis.
Also, I have removed your comment addressed to another user. Comments are to be used for providing information to the developers only. We also allow sharing of workarounds, because those often provide clues that can help the developers. But we don't allow open discussion among users because that scatters the important information needed to find and fix the bug. Discussion should be conducted on sites designed for that purpose, such as the Minecraft Discord.

I get it when im offline. ONLY when offline. I got the game a few days ago and this bug ruins the experience for me. Pls help
Happens to me too in ios version. Bedrock. It happens only when i am offline though. It has been an annoying bug and i bought the app a few days ago.
I get this problem on my iPhone 6 and my iPad 7 gen. BUT I FOUND OUT HOW TO STOP IT FROM CRASHING OFFLINE. all you need to do is LOG OUT OF YOUR MICROSOFT ACCOUNT while online. Then after that you should be able to play offline without it crashing.
PLS SEE THIS MOJANG. I thing it crashes BECAUSE it is FAILING TO CONNECT TO YOUR MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. hope this helps!!!!!!
I got mine to work. All I needed to do was log out of my Microsoft account while online. The crash only happens when I am offline AND connected to a Microsoft account. But sadly even though I can get in now, it means I can’t save purchases and worlds I bought. SKINS TOO. a few times before I found out how to fix it, I was able to get past the white loading screen for a few seconds sometimes. Hope this helps
Shabnam cadwallender tell me if it works then. Also you should look up a tutorial on how to copy your Minecraft worlds to your iCloud or files app just in case something happens to the device or app.
Make sure you are on a secure WiFi connection
Also make sure you are not on a vpn or anything that unblocks websites or apps because that can also cause problems sometimes
Hey David Adams. Try connecting to a secure WiFi connection, make sure u don’t have a vpn on your device. and if it lets you on after that, sign out of your nephews Xbox account in the Minecraft settings in the app, and it should work. It worked for me every time. I’m guessing it’s just a bug with connecting to a Microsoft account when offline. Comment back if it works!!!!!!
@Dario Passariello make sure you are not connected to a Microsoft account. If so get onto an internet connection, get into the app, go to the in game -settings, and log out of your Microsoft account. That’s how I fixed my bug. Also make sure you don’t have a vpn active. Also your grammar ARE INCREDIBLE VERY!
And don’t go hating on mojang. They are trying to fix this problem. They have been trying for a while.
Still crashes on 1.13.2. Pls keep trying
I have the newest iPad with the newest iOS version and an iPhone 6 with iOS 12. Still crashes when I’m offline and connected to a Microsoft account. Pls fix. The only way to keep it from crashing is by logging out when I’m online. But if I do that then my skins and purchases don’t save and I can’t access the skins that are on my Microsoft account. PLS FIX. EVEN AFTER THIS NEW UPDATE ITS STILL HAPPENING
...pls
@Hayden look up a tutorial on YouTube on how to copy your worlds onto your device storage and iCloud. It is very helpful
Still crashes after the new update
I have a secure connection. It also happens on my iPad 7 gen. Pls try to fix
Aww man. Still doesn’t work even after the 1.13.3 update
Pls keep trying all it does now it freeze for about a whole minute then crash. Pls keep trying
now i cant play minecraft at all. The recent update keeps me from playing it now. It goes onto the load screen and then crashes. Pls fix. Imtroes deleting the app and reinstalling it but it doesnt help
Happens to me too on iOS except it doesn’t crash
Also iOS. When I try to join non featured servers, I’m stuck on a screen that says generating server and locating server. It doesn’t crash. It just loads forever
And yea for some reason 4G doesn’t work with Minecraft. I use LTE and I get that STUPID PROBLEM. PLS FIX THIS MOJANG!!!😭
It with a connection lässt than 4 bars
Same thing happens on my iPhone 11 and iPad 6 gen with an Xbox one Bluetooth controller. It seems like it happening across all mobile platforms
I experience this issue on my iPhone 11 and iPad 6 gen with an Xbox one bluetooth controller. It seems like this is happening across all mobile platforms
I think it happens if I barely move my joystick to look. Or if I move it too fast.
im still having this problem.
do you have mob griefing disables?
I can’t even join SERVERS when on cellular data either
You need mobgriefing off for some reason for it to work. It’s just something they need to fix
I think it is because Minecraft disconnects form your Microsoft account on cellular data.
Steps to reproduce:
expected results: the camera should stop moving when you let go of the joystick
observed results: the camera moves around on its own when you let go of the joystick
Wolvy I couldn’t agree more
This same thing happens to me too. Even on the iOS 14 betas and with the newest mcpe iOS hotfix
I use an iPhone 11 with AirPods and an Xbox one wireless controller
I use an iPhone 11 on iOS 14. I was in a cool environment inside. No direct sunlight. I was playing with an Xbox one controller with Bluetooth. Then my iPhone got a heat warning. It felt as if it could almost burn me.
Problems that cause intense heat like this can decrease battery health(how long until ur battery needs to be replaced) DRAMATICALLY!!! It also makes the whole phone slow down to decrease temperature. This makes the game almost unplayable at some times. It also makes my whole phone basically freeze due to the cpu overheating and needing to slow down to put out less heat so that it can cool down because of this game.
This can sometimes be caused if you have ALOT of worlds because it will still be focused on loading your worlds files. I once tried deleting over half of my worlds and my game loaded a lot faster. My cousin’s game loads up faster than mine because he has ALOT less worlds than me. Try deleting worlds you don’t need or don’t play
You might want to check and make sure you have a Microsoft account when buying minecoins (coins). If you don’t have a Microsoft account, anything you do that has to do with payment in the app will not save and you can easily lose everything you bought.
And make sure the Microsoft account is always signed in
Does your device have the ability to use cellular data?
Platform: iPhone 11
version: most recent
operating system version iOS 14.4
I have this problem when playing games where I am using the elytra. For example, in terra swoop force, when I am flying with the elytra, the blocks can have trouble rendering and I end up crashing I to an invisible wall. Then when I respawn, I have to wait a while for the blocks to load in EVERY TIME I DIE. also blocks behind leaves don’t load in, and I can see the void through the leaves because the blocks behind the leaves don’t load in.
workaround: turn render distance to the minimum and rendering blocks becomes quicker.
a Workaround to improve performance a lot is to delete worlds you don’t need or never use. I recommend keeping your world amount to 10 or less. I once had over 50 worlds and my game started stuttering a lot and crashed a lot too. After deleting half, my game ran ALOT BETTER!!!!
i am playing on ios and when using experimental gameplay, i cant find ANY iron ore. Ive looked EVERYWHERE!!!
Iron doesnt generate at all
This happens to me too. It actually does download but you cant tell. but it allows you to download and/or buy it again. It was very confusing and still is. Please fix this. Also the download progress window disappears immediately so you cant tell of it downloaded or not.
