Flying through cobwebs in creativeslows the playerdown when itshouldn't.Flying through cobwebs in creative affects the player and shouldn't
Hi!
I've been playing around with the new snapshots (and I must admit I'm enjoying playing around with the new trading system!).
I noticed that, after a creeper blast has destroyed a farmer's work site (a composter, totally not my fault... honest), that the trades for that villager no longer refreshed and it seems as though placing a new composter isn't enough to fix this.
I've done some testing in a separate test world and found the same thing - the data as given by the /data get entity command shows that it's still pointing at the previous job site which supports what I had suspected.
I can't imagine that this is intended behavior as it would render trading refreshes impossible if the original work site is damaged or changed.
If there is anything specific you'd need to investigate this, please let me know.
Thanks.

Its probably either an issue with your internet connection or that of the server you are trying to connect to. It probably isn't a Minecraft issue.
That is probably the case. However the entity no longer vanishes on transit as it once did. That seems to have been fixed. However they instead vanish when the cart is broken instead.
I have to say I've been testing this locally with a variety of blocks and tools (shovels with sand, gravel and dirt. pickaxes with netherrack, stone) and I cannot reproduce this locally with Eff V diamond tools.
Are you sure you're getting this in the latest version?
Did you test this in 1.4.1-pre and above? A bug described like this was fixed in that version and I cannot reproduce this locally.
I've noticed this too.
I cannot reproduce this in the latest version. I however have been able to find a related bug (
MC-39) about mobs vanishing after breaking minecarts.I just tested this again with a longer track (300+ blocks). I still couldn't get it to happen.
I've tested this with various combinations of materials above void, other materials and I cannot get this to happen.
A bug like this was fixed in the recent snapshots. Have you tested this in the most recent release?
Have you checked this in the latest version? I cannot reproduce this. A bug with this description was fixed in the 1.4.1-pre. Can you confirm this still exists in the 1.4.2 release?
Can you confirm if this issue still exists in the 1.4.2 release? I am unable to reproduce this locally.
This is intended behaviour. Regardless of if the mob is player summoned in peaceful all hostile mobs despawn. This is also true for mob eggs which are also player-summoned entities.
You do however have a point about the heads being lost. Instead of spawning the wither then having it vanish it would be nice if it simply did nothing on peaceful instead.
This is intended behaviour. The code explicitly checks if the user is in creative mode and then does not allow its use if that is the case.
I don't know if there is a reason why this is the case but maybe someone knows why.
This can happen while Minecraft is downloading the resource files the first time.
Does this happen every time you start Minecraft, even after you have loaded a world?
Can you be more clear about exactly what the bug you are seeing is?
Can you post a screenshot of the crafting table with the configuration that is not working for you? Can you confirm this still does not work in 1.4.2 final release?
Does it happen every time on every world you load?
Can you provide a screenshot of this effect?
The wither vanishing on peaceful has been fixed for the next version per
MC-155.This seems to be intended behaviour since an arrow is an indirect attack method and the code causes it to teleport randomly in such an instance.
I cannot reproduce this locally. Do you have a crash report for this?
I think is more that they are hit by the projectile and then teleport as a result. Not that they aren't hit at all. At least that is what I am seeing in the code.
It seems like it is intended but hopefully someone from Mojang will come and let us know for sure.
I can confirm this.
Are they even meant to? I know wither skeleton heads do but I have yet to witness any of the others. If so I guess that's intended.
Can you describe the bug you are seeing a little more clearly please?
What reason could there be for adding various slabs not not nether brick slabs? Its the same thing. Its intentionally not added, why I cannot answer.
I can also confirm this issue.
Duplicate of
MC-507?This is an intentional feature as I understand it. Floating tripwire and block-based tripwire cannot be mixed.
I cannot reproduce this locally.
This should be fixed in the next version per
MC-57.You have to remember that swords take durability when they impact a mob and do damage to the sword even when they aren't dealing damage to the mob (the invulnerable period between spam attacks). This is along those lines so if one is fixed then they probably should both be.
This is intended behaviour, you can put tripwire on other tripwire.

MC-544?Duplicate of
MC-196? If so it has been marked as fixed for the next version/This is a duplicate of
MC-38. It has been fixed in the next version. This is an issue with your texture pack. Try using the default texture pack.
This is intended behaviour as the ice melts based on the light level not on the block.
Its intended behaviour from what I understand (I posted about it in MC-72). Witches however can respawn so not all is lost
I cannot confirm this issue in the latest version in single player mode.
In that case I would suggest trying a clean install of Minecraft. You can remove your bin and resources folder and force and update from the launcher. If the issue still persists please let us know.
Villagers do not despawn at all. No matter how far away you go.
Can you explain why you think this is the case?
Per the code it is intended to be this way. There is a 1 in 5 chance of a non wither skeleton spawning in the nether.
I've had no issues with this. Can you provide a screenshot of the bed setup?
This is a duplicate of
MC-67.I'm not sure this is a bug.
It seems like the arrow hitting the endermen causes it to teleport, not to much that it teleports to avoid the shot.
Hopefully someone from Mojang will come and clarify this.
This is probably related to or a duplicate of
MC-790.This has been fixed in for 1.4.3. Please see
MC-388.I do not believe this is a bug. It is probably intended behaviour.

MC-537.This is a duplicate of
MC-504This is a duplicate of
MC-467.Its true that it isn't needed but considering they are there and they reset often it can be quite annoying for some people.
Wood would never be affected any more than a fortune pick would give more cobble. The same is true for pumpkins.
Fortune affects melon slices however it is capped at 9 to prevent infinite duplication.
This is intended behaviour.
Are you checking the light levels at your feet on the surfaces?
This is a feature not a bug.
Happy Halloween! You just found an Easter egg
You can leave the bug open and a someone will come along to see if it is worth looking at.
I will add that, as an open fence gate is a path-find friendly block (there is an empty space for mobs to move through) this shouldn't be fixed. Annoying it may be but mobs can move through an open door so I don't see why it would (or should) be different here.
This may or may not be a bug and either way it probably shouldn't be fixed given the number of uses that have come up for this feature since the reintroduction of silk touch on ice. Just like BUD switches it would be rather unfortunate to have this removed.
Are you playing on easy mode? The wither affect is not applied to players in easy mode/
This is a duplicate of
MC-1464and has been marked as fixed for 1.4.3Ice speedways. Plain and simple. They are a good feature.
Considering you can fly in creative mode, I hardly call this an exploit. It really should be corrected because it really isn't sensible.
Potential world-breaking bug that's rendering the snapshots virtually useless and still no word from Mojang about this?
Has anyone found a work around at all?
This may or may not be causing chunk corruption also, loading up a world with this issue appears to cause some chunks to completely break. Reloading the world reveals the chunks to have been completely reset.
It's worth noting that I have not yet experienced this happening in worlds without this issue, even when transitioning from 19w14b to 1.14-pr1. If you need a test world, I will be happy to provide one for you.
