MC-158807You can remove cursed enchantments on items by repairing them in inventory
When you combine two same items (e. g. two diamond swords) in your inventory crafting grid and at least one of them have cursed enchantment, you will get sword without any enchantment, and without cursed enchantment.
Steps to reproduce:
- take two same items
- put any cursed enchantment(curse of binding or vanishing) on one or both items
- open your inventory and put that items in 2x2 crafting grid
- you should get one item with removed curse

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-158807, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved as Fixed. The fix will arrive in the next version or is already included in the latest development version of the game.
If you haven't already, you might like to make use of the search feature in the future to see if the issue has already been reported.

On the other hand MC-158807 was fixed. So we will have to wait for a decision by the developers.
