The Bug:
The freezing effect isn't immediately removed upon being damaged by campfires.
Please also note that this issue affects both campfires and soul campfires.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Build the setup as shown in the attachment below. setup.png
- Stand inside of the powder snow until you begin to freeze.
- Once you begin freezing, walk on top of the campfire.
- Take note as to whether or not the freezing effect is immediately removed upon being damaged by campfires.
Observed Behavior:
The freezing effect isn't immediately removed.
Expected Behavior:
The freezing effect would be immediately removed.

Standing on top of a campfire doesn't instantly warm the player, unlike lava and fire.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Switch your gamemode to survival and stand in some powder snow, until you begin to freeze.
- Once you start freezing, walk into fire.
→Notice how when you do this, you are warmed up instantly, removing the freezing overlay.
- Stand in powder snow and begin freezing again.
- Once you start freezing, walk into lava.
→- Stand in powder snow and begin freezing again.
- Once you start freezing, walk on top of a campfire.
→Notice how you are not warmed up instantly, and the freezing overlay remains.
