Can confirm in 21w16a. Here's a command to give yourself a knowledge book:
/give @s knowledge_book{Recipes:["minecraft:polished_blackstone_wall"]} 1Basically the same as MC-116648.
Seems to be fixed in 1.18 pre1
Dmitry Konev is this fixed for you as well in 1.18 pre1?
I believe this is a case of MC-116648, since this issue can only be reproduced in survival mode. It's still present in 1.18 Pre-release 1 nonetheless.
