The ExplosionPower of ghast fireballs is uncapped, causing a freeze / crash
Fireballs, unlike creepers, don't appear to have a cap of ExplosionPower. Exploding the fireball with the ExplosionPower of any huge number below integer limit (example: 999999999) will make the game freeze trying to calculate the explosion. Mobs will not move, chunks stop loading, saving the world doesn't work.
The bug
1) /summon fireball ~ ~ ~ {ExplosionPower:999999999}
2) Make it fly into the ground by punching it
3) Game freezes

"It's Monday and it's time for another pre-release! This one fixed a few bugs and crashes."
According to the changelog, only one crash was fixed. Plural form of crashes does not fit this criteria.
Crash fixes:
MC-220698- The ExplosionPower of ghast fireballs is uncapped, causing a freeze / crash
Just one, not multiple.
Can confirm and relates to
MC-202760.this fireball 's power exceeds limit game can take overall, not to mention the amount of block states changed, item drops, and entity kills. so naturally, this would occur. a power 999999999 fireball is a very unsafe way to crash your system.
I don't see how this matters, all you have to do to avert this is not do something that would obviously crash your game. If we're talking about people exploiting this to crash creative servers, it can be fixed easily with plugins/rollbacks.
