It is normal that the legs of cats 'glitch' through their body when they walk. But for any cat texture except this one, the color matches the upper part of their body. For the cat texture below, the legs are white at the top instead of black.

I think the legs pass through their backs so that it looks like they are moving their shoulder blades when walking, that is very noticeable in real cats.

I don't think the model is a problem, but the white texture on the legs of the Tuxedo cat is, although that would have to be followed in MC-237556.
Some cat feet bottom textures do not have the right color, this is most noticeable with the red cat, as all feet have white bottom pixels of sides faces, but yellow bottom faces
How to reproduce:
/summon minecraft:cat ~ ~ ~ {CatType:X,NoAI:1b}with X being 0, 2, 3, 7, or 10.
- Observe the different colors between the bottom of the feet for side textures, and bottom face.
Notes:
- While the all_black cat indeed has a dark bottom of the feet, it is lighter than the lowest pixels on the sides, making the color off still.
- british_shorthair, calico and jellie are affected, but due to in-game shading making the bottom of elements darker, this cannot really be seen in-game.

No, that's about the model offsets, this is about the texture applied to the top of the leg being the wrong color.

This actually affects a lot more cats, and not just at the top of the legs; I made MC-243777 to properly cover the issue, not remembering this existed.
