This also seems to happen when a fox is naturally spawned into the world holding an item or spawned in with a spawn egg that has it holding an item.

This issue is not exclusive to foxes and can be seen when other entities pick up items as well such as piglins collecting admirable items, pandas collecting bamboo, etc... Should new reports be created regarding these issues or will they have been fixed alongside this ticket?EDIT: All instances of the core issue here were fixed in 1.19 Pre-release 2.
