MC-11659, as their String ID was removed and they're also no longer saved and cannot be created with spawners.Confirmed for 14w04b.

Really weird.
Needed this for a minigame.
Confirmed for 14w18a, somehow the "Egg" entity doesn't exist. You can't find it with /testfor @e[type=Egg] and you can't summon them with /summon Egg
Still present in 14w25b.
If you need to test for eggs you can just use @e[name=unknown]. Do not think summing is possible though.

Testing for unknown (the only non-capitalized entity name btw) will also find fishing bobbers and a few other entities missing from the summon list. I wonder if it finds lightning too?
This was fixed in 1.8.2-pre7 along with
MC-47832.
