MC-755Adventure mode placing blocks
Sometimes you can randomly place blocks on adventure mode, but you cant destroy them! (this happened after i changed sometimes between survival and adventure, but i was on adventuremode when i placed the block!)

This is how it is supposed to work. In adventure mode you can place blocks and mine them if you have the correct tool.
Oh, your right, there should be a gamerule to disable placing blocks though
