Terrible Performance on Xbox Series X with new patch 1.8 with Series X/S Optimization
I played quite a bit of Minecraft Dungeons on my Series X prior to the new patch 1.8 and I wasn't having performance issues. The game was running great before the patch, but as soon as I loaded into a new game after the update, I could tell something was different.
Now after the latest patch that includes optimized for x/s updates it runs terribly. It is slow and very laggy with heavy drops in framerate. I have tried re-downloading and installing the game multiple times. It is happening on any map or game mode I choose.
The lag feels as if the game isn't using the GPU on the series x properly with the update.
I hope this can be fixed soon as it is somewhat unplayable with this lag

Is this issue made any worse by specific equipment being used? (Or does it improve if you use equipment that generate fewer particles?)
If you are able to provide a short video clip of the issue, it might help to determine what could be contributing to the issue.
I can tell even when pulling up the map to select missions is lagging and low fps. Scrolling around the screen used to be smooth, now you can tell it is very laggy.
It lags even with a few mobs on the screen and just gets progressively worse the more mobs there are. My Xbox One S feels better than this after the update.
This issue has been addressed in the 1.8.1.0 update. (Patch Notes)
This actually has not been fixed, on series s it still runs bad
