MCL-22166No option to keep save data upon uninstall
I uninstalled Minecraft because my world wouldn't update, and while uninstalling it told me it would give me the option to keep my save data, but no option was given to me. Instead, it just deleted my save data. And now I can't get it back...

I am going to suggest you to say that in the helping site of Mojang, not here. That's because here you have less chance to be notified, but you can write same thing in the other site too, so two things will happen:
Hey, are you talking about Minecraft: Java Edition or Minecraft for Windows? If the latter, it's probably related to
MCL-20282.This is still not fixed and affects the latest version of the launcher.
Please confirm if this is an issue in the latest beta of the launcher
The issue is fixed. The uninstall message is now correct and the link to the backup article is now working.
I recommend closing the ticket and removing it from MEQS REGRESSION.
