If you are on Windows, you can use Windows+Alt+R to open a built-in app for recording game footage.
If you are on Mac (Mojave or later), you can use Shift+Command+5 to open a built-in app for recording your screen.
In case you don't have a program to record videos, we recommend using the free recording software OBS.

Not sure if you are an AMD user or not, but the AMD Adrenaline software has a feature called Virtual Super Resolution which allows your computer to choose resolutions that don't match your monitor in order to scale it to your desired resolution. If you have that software, disabling that feature may fix your issue.
While I’m the OP, the report was created on the back of user reports in the legends discord upon launch. I don’t have any way of confirming this myself unfortunately as I didn’t experience the issue first hand.
Thank you for letting me know about the AMD feature though, that’s definitely helpful to remember
