Mobs that take up 1 height sufocate on carpets
when a mob occupying only a block (chicken, wolf spider, pig, chicken, ocelot...)pass a carpet he takes damage to death. possibly carpet behave as whole block to these mob and they suffocate.

This bug appears to be fixed for 0.14.0 Beta build 1

Thanks Vincent. Please add any additional info on ticket MCPE-10300. This is a specific case of a more general bug that 1 block tall mobs suffocate in partial blocks.

Affects 0.12.2 bug fix release.
It still affects 0.12.3, the mobs seem to take damage from it, maybe they belive that it's a full block and that they're stuck?
It's not just for carpets. Cakes trigger exactly the same glitch.
