Duplicate of your own ticket MCPE-13007 which is still a duplicate of MCPE-13602.
Please do not create duplicate tickets (especially your own!!), it just makes the process of fixing the bugs reported more complicated.
Confirmed for 0.14.2 but might have been because it was a world created in 0.14.1
I do not get this problem. Try making another world and try it out.
I created another one. In 0.14.3 . With the same seed. Might be that there is a stronghold near the village.
If they are too far they can't go back and they don't sense each other, they sense by the doors.
