I guess this and MCPE-13470 are in fact the same issue but I do not close this for now.

This bug and MCPE-13470 are still in effect as of 1.2.0.11.
I can confirm that still affects 0.14.3
Please respond and add the current version if you can reproduce this issue.

I just experienced this bug in 1.0.2.
