Light passes through slabs and stairs
When you cover something with slabs light passes through. Like when you make your house's roof or something similar. Or when you are doing the roof of a zombie farm, and that makes that zombies can't spawn.

Is it a bug tho? You have to place full block for light to not pass. Slabs, stairs can't block lights.
This creates some funky visual glitches when building with slabs. I would love to see this get fixed.
By “funky visual glitches”, are you referring to MCPE-54410 and
MCPE-48366? Those are not caused by this issue.Confirmed in 1.21.60.21
