MCPE-28864First Ender Dragon kill doesn't spawn an egg
Upon killing the Ender Dragon for the first time no egg was generated on top of the exit portal (or anywhere else on the central end island) and the XP drop was substantially less then what some sources indicated it would be (only 7-19)... I am playing on a world converted from Xbox one edition to Bedrock and am playing vanilla survival on normal difficulty

I am relatively new to the game and just defeated the Ender Dragon for the first time, but no egg appeared on the tower. It appears this issue was reported previously (MCPE-28864), and has supposedly been resolved.
I defeated the dragon in Peaceful mode, and went through the End Gateway before looking for the egg. After going to the end city I remembered I hadn't gotten the egg, but when I came back it wasn't there. I looked at the world spawn point, as well as all around the Exit Portal.
Same issue. I beat the enderdragon for the first time and no egg spawned on top of the portal.
Same issue. My world was not converted.

Same issue with my world where I killed the dragon and no egg appears and my world was also transferred to the new version
i just had this issue last night... i died many times but i got my very first ever ender dragon kill in survival! No Egg, and NO portal to outer islands
Same thing happens to me. I play on switch and I also transferred from switch edition to bedrock on survival. I've made copies and tried killing it multiple times but the egg has never spawned
Why hasn’t this been resolved yet?? I worked hard to finally kill this dragon and the egg didn’t spawn. What gives?

looks like (my bug reported) for the dragon egg happening twice (the focus was for the dragon being invisible) was fixed (indeed), but now there is no chance of getting a dragon egg nor the sum of exp with it... hm...
Same thing just happened to me, and I’m pissed.
Is this still an issue in the latest version?
It is no longer an issue as far as i can tell.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete.
