Weird textures: Moiré pattern on bricks
These screenshots look normal from the distance, but if you look closer, you can see some weird round, wavy shapes and stripes on the brick roof of the building.
Don't know if this is a glitch, because this also happens to PC Minecraft. To me, it looks really weird.

Tommaso said that this kind of graphical bug was fixed for 0.8.0 with the new mipmaps features, duplicate of MCPE-347
Hmmm, this could be related to MCPE-347
Nah, MCPE-347 is caused by a lack of mipmapping, whereas this bug is an actual error.
Duplicate of MCPE-347, also this has been fixed for 0.8.0 with the mimaps and anisotropic feature

It's a visual effect called a "Moiré pattern."

Usually it can be avoided in OpenGL apps by generating mipmaps, not sure why they're so bad in PE (I've noticed them too).
So PC MC doesn't generate mipmaps; I guess the same thing goes for MCPE, so this probably works as intended.
Wooooow, didn't you just resolve almost every single issue as "PE is not the same as PC Minecraft, there are differences"?!
Yeah, I guess I did
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Still in the game. It's strange that you haven't noticed it yet.
This is because the resolution of the game, it happens on devices with short resolution
This is exactly the kind of thing that is fixed with Mipmaps and anisotropic filtering that I was rambling about on twitter.
However they require quite a big engine/texture change and will be probably only available in 0.8 and only on some devices on fancy graphics.
Also, that's always happened in PC too.
Happens to me too. Looks kind of cool.
I've noticed it too. It's because the game has lower resolution than what most devices can handle, though it might still be noticeable with higher resolution, though a bit less.
This still has it on spruce wood planks in 0.8.0
