R3 and L3 on XBox One controller non-functional
Equipment: iOS 13.1.3 (17A878), iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (3rd generation), Minecraft 1.12.1, XBox One controller with fresh batteries
iOS 13 now provides the ability to use an XBox One or PlayStation 4 controller. When paired with an XBox One controller, L3 and R3 (pressing down on each analog stick) does not function in Minecraft.
It is my understanding that iOS 13 now provides for L3 and R3 and Minecraft needs an update to support those buttons. The initial mapping for Sprint, for instance, is to L3. It would be awesome to have these buttons work. Thanks!

This is still an issue with the current version of Minecraft, at least when using a ps4 controller.
Could this please be fixed already? It’s been over 4 months since the release of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 and this probably isn’t such a difficult fix. Thanks!
Have confirmed this issue still exists on iPadOS 13.4.
This is fixed with 1.14.60 on iOS 13.4 iPhone X using an Xbox one controller. I was able to assign these buttons and use them.
YESSSS!!! Fixed. FINALLY.
Thanks!!
