Use milk to cure mining fatigue, guardian curses me immediately
Attempting to clear ocean monument. Using milk to clear mining fatigue, however as soon as I’ve cleared it, guardians curse me within 1 second. I have cleared ocean monuments before so this isn’t supposed to happen that fast. I can’t break one block because I’m constantly fatigued.

I am having this issue in Bedrock v 1.19. Steps to duplicate:
- Enter within 50 blocks of Elder Guardian and get mining fatigue.
- Drink bucket of milk. Get mining fatigue again immediately.
- Drink 2nd bucket of milk. Get mining fatigue again immediately.
- Drink 3rd bucket of milk. Get mining fatigue again immediately.
- Drink 4nd bucket of milk. Get mining fatigue again immediately.
My understanding per the wiki is that Elder Guardians check every minute for a player within 50 blocks and cause mining fatigue at that time. The first 3 buckets should have cleared fatigue for the maximum number of Elder Guardians (3). The fourth bucket should have cleared fatigue for one minute.

That’s exactly how it’s supposed to work, so is working as intended.
The point of the debuff is so you have to clear the monument and can’t just mine your way to the mobs.
Once you kill all the elder guardians the debuff will stop applying.
if you believe you’ve cleared the mining fatigue in the past while the elder guardians were still alive, that was the bug, not the behaviour you’re seeing now.
I'm quite sure in the previous version I could drink milk right after getting mining fatigue and I had a minute to mine before I got the next one. Now I get the mining fatigue immediately after drinking milk.
Did this change recently? I can't find this mentioned in any changelogs.
Here in this video I was playing on version 1.13 (windows store version), and at 1:30 you can see that I'm drinking the milk, and then I can mine for a while: https://youtu.be/dvBqn0oQQ3Y?t=90
(I understand that this might be the intended behaviour, but I wonder if this is mentioned somewhere as a change in 1.14.)
