When writing on signs the text looks okay and wraps to sign, but when exiting the sign, the text is one line and on the background. Hitting enter whilst composing makes no difference. Also some of it is hash tagged out (though nothing bad was typed!) Just seems to affect certain areas / signs - some can still be written okay

Does this happen in the latest version, and in a new single player world?
It is happening on the latest version of the game, but I have only noted it in realms so far - the main realm I play in is a year old now. I started a new single player world and tested it out for a bit, but it did not appear to be happening, however I only had about 20 minutes to test it, and maybe there are other conditions that were not met.
You have this marked as resolved. It was still happening the other day when I was playing on the realm.
This is still happening in my realm, as well as other problems with input from bedrock code base to a realm. When realm is copied (downloaded) problem disappears
REALMS-1375This exact thing started happening with a sign on a bedrock realm today in the Nether. the /\ characters presented as ## and carriage returns did not show and stretched out both sides, even if no blocks were on either side of the sign block item.
Other signs typed yesterday appear to be fine on the same realm. LG Q6 device Android Nougat. Sign was previously fine until it had to be moved by one block. Even when put back into its original place with same text, the glitch still happened.
Yes, it is still happening after all this time. I would also add something else: sometimes the text doesn't even appear on the sign - it looks like it is, but when exiting the sign at the end, it is just blank.

Is the issue with the text running off the sign still happening? If so, what is the exact text that was typed, including any line breaks? What device and interface was used to enter the text? I was unable to reproduce this in 1.14.60 using Xbox with controller (on-screen keyboard).
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
