I just installed Minecraft on a new computer and no matter how hard I try, I always get exit code 1.

I can't open it

Launcher says playing demo for java and play trial while i own both

Can't play 1.19 pre3

Unable to join the game because to you need to create a profile even if you already done it.

It doesn't download the update and it won't let me start the game

after purchasing, downloaded from email, buy it's demo

latest snapshot is still prerelease 1 but there are newer snapshots

freezes on versions prior to 1.19 snapshots

Missing Minecraft versions from launcher even though they are on Mojang servers

Launcher can't locate things in .minecraft folder, though it is still there.

New launcher can't launch at all (auto closing) before restarting

I installed the new launcher in order to be able to have bedrock edition too but it doesn't work

My 1.18.2 disappeared

Launcher doesn't open. Opens Microsoft store instead.

When I try to install a snapshot or 1.19 it comes up with the error: Unable to decompress file. I have no idea of what to do.

My Launcher crashes before it loads only if it's not the first app to open
