I was viewing a creeper's point of view in a mineshaft and when the
creeper turneraround, my view was still looking at a pole.I was viewing a creeper's point of view in a mineshaft and when the Creeper turned around, my view was still looking at a pole.
[EDIT] : This happens to ALL mobs in Minecraft. I was testing on Villager, Ender man, Creeper, Spider, Chicken, Giant (using /summon), and Zombie and all did the same thing
I was making a custom superflat preset, and when I added the beacon layer, the beacon item picture was inverted and super dark.
HOW TO REPRODUCE:
1.) Make a superflat world and customize it.
2.) On any layer, add a beacon
3.) Beacon texture is inverted and darker.EDIT: This happens to chests and trapped chests also.
I was playing Creative Mode in the latest snapshot (14w21b) and was making a video about an enchanted stick (no idea why) and as I was crouching/ sneaking in third-person view (F5), the stick was misplaced. It happens to every item and possibly blocks.
Steps to Re-create:
1. Get any item
2. Go into third-person mode (default F5)
3. Then hit your crouch key (default L-Shift)
4. The item goes up your arm instead of staying in your hand.I have searched and found nothing like it.
EDIT
Thanks @Blah for showing meMC-46579. I didn't find it through my searching. This is going to be a duplicate
Happens in both main hand and off-hand
Just hold a shield and right click to 'block'
Attached below is a resource pack that can show a fix using item rendering translations, and shows images of what the new blocking animation would look like in third person mode.

That happened to me too. Will not re-report, but vote.
I just wanted to view the life of a Creeper and make a YouTube documentary, but this bug breaks it.
This isn't technically a bug, but maybe could be an addition in later snapshots / 1.8.
Great thought, though
The intention for the use of barriers was for adventure maps, so you do not see the hitbox at all, and you see ALL hitboxes in Survival mode, so this isn't a bug.
This happened to me while playing the custom survival map World in a Jar. I was going to just report this. Thx
Could you add a few screenshots and a way to reproduce it please. Mojang will not fix this if there is not a possible way to reproduce it.
This is very similar to something I just reported. (see
MC-48681)Do you stand underwater normally, or do you jump around?
Confirmed
This is possibly caused by the changing light-levels, since it happens when you go up or down, or changing the Y-Axis.
Confirmed for me in singleplayer. Possibly only affects certain environments. I am Windows 8.
The Dragon egg is the Locked Chest texture in my survival world
Different for each player strangely, but still confirmed.

Dupe of
MC-68233Confirmed. Only happens with colored beams at least 6 blocks away from the beacon beam
Confirmed in 1.8.1 pre1, pre2, and pre3.
Does this still occur in the latest Minecraft version? If so, please update the Affected Versions to help Mojang best track bugs.
Please attach screenshots so that we can better understand what you are reporting.
You actually can use Jack o' Lanterns. Read the Wiki: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Iron_golem#Creation
Jack o' Lanterns only work in 1.8.1. Use pumpkins in 1.8
Affected Versions is incorrect. Please change it to the version you were playing in.
I was able to call my computer company and told them what was going on, so I was able to fix it using the info in the box on
MC-58760! It is fixed now! Thanks!I still have the cape. Is your skin supposed to be like that?
I have a realm and I sleep perfectly fine and time changes. Did you make /gamerule doDaylightCycle false. If so, the time isn't supposed to change.
Confirmed. It happened to me too.
This is intentional. When you are playing anything with headphones, it makes the sound come from the source, in this case the jukebox. It will try to play the music to the nearest headphone side, in this case you are spinning, so it is rapidly changing. Works as intended.
I actually kinda like how even the tiniest of errors are noticed. Kudos!

MC-68754. Please search before filing a bug report.I actually found out that if everyone leaves the realm and then comes back, it will begin working again. I tried breaking and replacing the maps again and it is fine now. I don't know what was happening before.

Could not recreate. Could you provide screenshots?
EDIT: Can confirm with what Tom Udding said. You must /give @p shield for it to work
That didn't happen to me on my Windows 8.1. Will see on my windows 7.
EDIT: They were still coloured on my WIndows 7. Try updating your Java
Could you post screenshots of the 'strange pattern' so that it is more easily viewable to others
EDIT: Can confirm, they are more pixelated.
Shield on left, banner on right
Confirmed, will post a crash report to go along with bug report.
Confirmed, will add a crash report to go along with bug report.
Works as Intended. Farmers try to plant whatever crop they have on them albeit carrots, beetroot, wheat, and/or potatoes
Could you please explain more, or provide screenshots?
I feel they just used the sword's blocking code, so it may be works as intended. I think they meant to say that you can have a shield to go along with the sword.
Can confirm.
Duplicate/links to MC-86135 about the patterns acting strangely
Works as Intended. There is no time in the Nether and End dimensions, so the clock doesn't know what to do, so it keeps going randomly
Confirmed for 15w34a

One of the longest running, extremely annoying bugs I've encountered.
There is just about no information as to what you are explaining. Any insight as to what caused what occurred to get what is in the screenshots would be nice.

I asked Marc this on Twitter when introduced, it will display that you have been invited to realms on the main menu, but since realms is not compatible with the snapshots, it has no use currently.
One way to fix it is to change the translation & rotation to fit with current hand motion when blocking. Another way is to change the current hand motion to fit with current shield block. Resource Pack included
Wouldn't both the inverted and normal daylight detectors be WAI as they use wood in the crafting recipe, and the majority of the block is composed of the wooden material?
