Apologies for the dupe - I really did search, honest!
I've also found that, whilst out searching for wolves to replace the dogs I had to cull as a result of this issue, random dogs with white collars (an indication of this problem - at least in my experience) would appear sitting down. They'd jump at me if I hit them, but, would, otherwise just look at me. As reported above, couldn't tell them to sit or stand.
I have now encountered two different dungeons in two different worlds that had empty spawners (please see
first 2attached pictures.)They did not appear to contain a chest of any kind, although, in the second one, I mined the mossy stone blocks and one of them threw up wooden chips and made the sound of wood being broken/chopped (please see
the 3rdattached picture). At first, I assumed that this was yet another bug, but, when the block was finally mined, a chest appeared, which suggests to me that one of the blocks (at floor level, as in, in the floor, not on it), was an empty chest despite looking like a mossy stone block.I have now encountered two different dungeons in two different worlds that had empty spawners (please see attached pictures.)

I'm not using any texture packs, but have experienced this bug.
@Paul Hunnisett: I'm sorry, I've misled you. When I said "as far as I know", I gave the impression that I might know something about whether a hotfix will be issued. But I don't actually, I was basically just saying I don't know any more than anybody else commenting here. Most of us who work on the bug tracker aren't Mojang employees, and we aren't privy to inside information because we don't need it to carry out the bug tracker's mission, which is just to collect, organize, and pass on information about bugs reported by you.
What I'm really supposed to say is something like "Sorry, we're unable to answer questions about the status of a bug once we've passed it to the developers, but the Community Management team can find out for you." I don't like saying that very much, because it sounds like I'm brushing off the question and our users have valid concerns and questions that should be heard. But I really don't have those answers, so I shouldn't pretend to. I'll try to do better in the future.
So let me now give a more honest answer: The only information I have about what's being done to resolve this bug is that the developers are working on it. I don't know whether they're considering a hotfix, or when 1.10 will come out, or whether it will fix all the remaining problems reported here. Questions like these should be addressed to the Community Management team, whom you can contact via the Minecraft Discord. I'm sorry that I don't have answers for you, but I just don't know any more than that.

I've also experienced this on 0.10.5 on android 5.0 on my LG g3.
I've also experienced new, tamed wolves spawning in 0.11.x - same system.
Bizarrely, in the latter instance, the wolves would spawn inside a block of glass in the side of my house. Had to break the glass to get them to stand and move.
All instances happened in survival mode.
My apologies, I did do a search, but somehow missed that one.

I did search, I just filtered the search out to 0.11.0 because it seemed like a new bug
Excellent news. Are you able to elaborate on what you mean by "at first"? Will it increase in speed over time, or just that we'll get used to it?
This is not fixed for me. Some of my dogs can be fed as expected, but some cannot. There does not seem to be any reason why some dogs can be fed and others not.
Confirmed on LG G3 running Android 5.0
Confirmed for LG G3 running Android 5.0 and for all versions from 0.10.5 to 0.11.0 beta 13.
I experience this exactly as in the video posted by Mark Jarvis above.
I tried to edit the "Affects versions" as above, but I don't appear to have the rights to edit this - which is fair enough.
I'm still having this issue on build 14 single player as well.
Are we sure on the "once damaged" thing?
I have some further information regarding this - it doesn't appear to be just damaged dogs that are affected. I managed to tame two wolves and, whilst being very careful not to let them take any damage, I was able to breed them a few times.
The puppies, however, when they grow up are also affected by this - in that they, while they consume food, it has no affect on them. They also seem to have white collars, which I suppose is incorrect, but hardly a significant problem since we can now dye the collars.
Confirmed on LG G3, Android 5.0 with version 0.11.0

It doesn't seem to happen every time - except with torches. Selecting water buckets are particularly annoying as they immediately throw water!
Assuming I'm understanding this issue correctly then I'm also getting it on LG G3 Android 5.0

Not sure if this is a duplicate of 9603 or the other way around..
Confirmed on LG G3 - Android 5.0
Hoping this isn't a bug - I like this.

I've only experienced it on Survival, butit's a very frustrating bug. I norder to change the item in a different hotbar slot; I have to come out of inventory select the hotbar slot and go back into inventory.
Still an issue in build 3.
This bug seems to be fixed in the latest beta version (0.12.1 build 11). I now get a reasonable number of saplings falling without needing to destroy the leaves manually.
Am playing 0.12.1 on Android.
It certainly does for me. I've had saplings dropped by jungle trees and oak trees - possibly birch too, but I don't remember.
No, the issue is that mobs are able to escape through the fences. The example of the baby sheep was that, having spawned in the correct pen, it escaped into the cow enclosure, despite there being no gates and a complete fence.
@john McDowel that's different to the bug I originally reported - the spawners are completely empty with no flame at all. Yours might be a different bug.
Confirmed on 0.13 Android LG G3

I searched for "can't put saddle horse" anddiff boy find any reference to this bug.
Same bug on LG G3 with Android 6 running 0.15.90.2
I'm still experiencing this issue in the latest beta version (1.04.1 on Android LG G3). I recently returned from exploring to discover that a couple of my cows had escaped their fencing.
The most common time I see this reproduced is if I go away on a journey, my mobs have sometimes escaped when I return. I think it may be something to do with them being unloaded and loaded from memory. Doesn't happen every time, but fairly often.
Also having this problem with ops not "sticking". Currently have an ops.json which looks like this:
[
{
"uuid": "UUID - got from online based on XBox username",
"name": "username",
"level": 4
}
]
Obviously, that's different from the format above which specifies permissions. So I'm confused as to which format it is - also, is the xuid above the username or the uuid?
Pictures added. Sorry - should've done that at the start.
I'm fairly confident that I have always had a locator map with me whenever this has happened to me. That said, it has also not happened many times when I've had the map, but it may be relevant.
I'm quite baffled as to why on earth there can't be a hotfix. This is a fairly serious bug and, as can be seen from the comments above, has already caused a few spoiled games. Hotfixes are a normal part of the software development process and, while I could understand waiting for a non game breaking bug, there doesn't seem to be much excuse here...
I also have this on my Galaxy S8 in the latest non beta version - 1.10 I think?
I have exactly this issue on 1.17.2 and Android 13. Am running on Fairphone 3. I've had this issue with both lineage OS and the stock Android 13 from fairphone.
I'm having this exact issue, but with pink concrete slabs. Really annoying - can't put the ceiling on my bedroom...
