So I created a new pair of diamond boots so they had no prior work on them and was applying my enchantments on them in the cheapest order of cheapest enchantments first such as mending when it became too expensive too apply thorns III and soul speed III which were last since those required more more xp than the others. I Have done this before with two other pairs of boots so I know it can be done. This was later confirmed in creative with books only holding relevant enchantments with the same results, TOO EXPENSIVE right before thorns III and soul speed III.

What Happens: From some view angles textures will have "seems" or "cracks" in-between textures leading to some jarring visuals
What should Happen: There should be no "seems" or "cracks" between textures leading to smooth and fluid texture transitions between blocks.

Upon trying to change the disk cat to the old console version of cat with dog appended I realized that it would not play as in it was just silence. It knew the file was there otherwise it would just play standard cat but instead it was just silence . I figured it was too large a file size but in preparing the test resource pack I realized that the shorter audio file was actually larger in size (Bytes). So best I can say is that it is actually length not size hindering it. Yes the format is .ogg, See attached mcpack file
Expected: Longer audio files will play
Observed: Longer Audio files won't play
Reproduce: using a resource pack replace an audio file (such as the record cat) with another audio file longer than 2:33 (in my case)

What happens: Frame rate will drop from a smooth and creamy 60 fps to 30fps at seemingly random with no indication as to why
What should happen: Frame rate should maintain or stay near to 60fps unless under heavy loads on lower end devices
How to replicate: generate a new world and just look/move around for a bit. It should be clear when it does happen.
See Here and Here for video examples of the issue(links are to videos in google drive, make sure to set quality to high)
Further information: my hardware (i5 9300H and GTX 1650) are not the issue, I've played plenty of win10 edition minecraft before without this issue. Further more when the fps is at 30 the input lag of
MCPE-98861seems to return which was mostly fixed in this beta and the previous which I personally was affected by.What happens: Frame rate will drop from a smooth and creamy 60 fps to 30fps at seemingly random with no indication as to why

Jayden have you tried updating your graphics drivers? It might solve the issue (or at least partially). If you don't know how, I can add a guide on how (via an external link, to avoid flooding the bug tracker with unnecessary information)

I've also encountered this except I thought they had actually reversed.
Can confirm on my behalf however my achievements do update just not my time played. Same platform.
I'm having similarly relevant issues with boots
I've been having the same issue since the update, I've done it twice before previous to this update so I know it can be done.
Too expensive enchantment list Updated.txt
Pretty sure it is the update because I have the same issue and I have a gaming laptop which is more than capable at running Minecraft.
Yes actually, I think it does. Thank you. I suppose this can be marked as solved or whatever.
Just updated to 1.16.201 and now have an input delay of about a quarter second making it unplayable, and no, as far as I'm aware its not my drivers. I try to keep them up to date.
this is because they have damage, checked using a nbt editor
so what if I'm having the same issue but for Windows 10 likely for the same reason as I have quite a few large (+700MB) worlds and have played quite a bit of minecraft so that is probably the reason by that issue is marked specifically for switch, although It only takes me about 2 minutes which is still quite a lot longer than the 5 or so seconds it usually takes.
was the end gate way generated in a different edition such as console? I have had the same issue. Kill the ender dragon again to generate a new one which should operate normally.
V-sync does remove the frame limit however despite it going usually well over 60 up to 120 sometime I'm not getting any screen tearing, so this seems like a good work around for now.
I can confirm as well, they refuse to enter as seen in attached video
Yup, view at
MCPE-121718It is still present in in 1.17.2 and I imagine other versions between now and 1.16.220, however I can't check that.
I think this is the same as
MCPE-109925Player hitbox incorrect after hitting a wall with an elytra - Jira (mojang.com)It would appear so
I have the same issue, windows graphics settings won't override it. no will nvidia control panel when selecting for both minecraft.windows.exe and minecraft for windows. Nothing seems to work which is an issue when dwm can use 50% of the integrated gpu. 1650 by the way.
Definitely still an issue in the latest update
I actually own both games though rather than having gamepass. Is this still the same issue?
Yup, still an issue
How come I can record it then (you have to download it to view at 60fps to properly see it) and this just appeared with the recent update, nor does it occur with any other game
Never mind, apparently my monitor was set 59.951 fps for some reason, and I guess it wasn't calibrated properly for that. This issue may be closed when a mod finds it since I cannot.
must be a weird interaction between something in my setup as it doesn't happen in older minecraft versions or any where else and the mouse behaves normally otherwise
