Parrots imitate mobs that aren't there
Using a freshly generated superflat "redstone ready" world in Peaceful Mode I placed 72 parrots in a confined space and turned subtitles on.
Over time they started to produce sounds of mobs that where not in the area and should not be able to spawn in due to peaceful mode being active, this can be seen thanks to the subtitle messages.

A few bugs have been reported on parrots making hostile sounds when no hostile mob is around. This is the case even in peaceful mode. The bug MC-115509 describes this well but has been marked as "Works as intended". Well if this is how it is supposed to work then peaceful mode is not that peaceful after all.
I have a 6 years old son who is afraid of the sounds in normal mode so we play in peaceful mode. I have even turned the sound of the weather off so the thunders don't scare him. But now we have finally found a jungle and some parrots. The parrots are making scary sounds and there seems to be no way to avoid this.
I think you should reconsider if this "works as intended" as this does scare young kids playing in peaceful mode.
Hi Gabrielle,
I've just tested this in 1.15.0.53 and I am unable to reproduce any issues with parrot sounds. It could be a case of what Lewis describes. Parrots are supposed to "imitate" other entities in close proximity (and sometimes not in close proximity per MC-115509 - if that behaviour is similar in Bedrock).
If you believe this is still a bug, please reply with a video demonstrating the issue and/or steps to reproduce and we can confirm.
(My parrot is currrently acting like a creeper - video attached Parrot-1.15.mp4

Per https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Parrot#Imitating_Sounds parrots can occasionally imitate sounds of mobs not near them.
This was confirmed working as intended in MC-115509 per the reference.
Parrots are supposed to imitate the sounds of hostile mobs, even if there aren't any nearby (see MC-115509).

If this works as intended, then having the subtitles on gives a significant advantage to hearing players over deaf players as we can tell when a parrot is imitating a hostile mob, but a deaf player cannot.
Indeed, I've had a parrot imitate a wither once in peaceful mode :o.
Sonicwave, you are right. I'm playing in a server that at 100% sure that No Wither Boss has been spawn in the map (because i'm 98% of the time alone in the server [...]), however i already heard one of my parrot "imitating" a Wither Boss...
I feel this is a bug that should be fix because that is not normal at all to heard a Wither Boss sound from a parrot imitating it when there is no one around. (No Health bar present as-well) For sure meaning he is not enough close to be visible and this mean parrot shouldn't be able to imitate it.
