Ocelots and parrots don't spawn
After half an hour of jungle exploration, I've come to the conclusion that ocelots and parrots don't spawn, they can only be summoned through spawn eggs.

Confirmed in 18w22a.
Still can't find any golden rabbits in the desert. I have found white rabbits in snowy areas, but no black and white rabbits. I found brown rabbits in taiga/cold taiga areas, but only the standard brown color. I haven't found any other rabbits anywhere else.
Also, while the parrots are back, I still can't find any ocelots in the jungles (MC-127156).
This part is still an issue as well: "However, all the mobs seem to be spawning in patches or super slowly. I can wander around an area in the day and not see any mobs at all. Most of the time once night come the hostile mobs spawn and then the passive and neutral mobs will spawn too. But I've been wandering around at night and gone a long way without seeing any mobs at all. Also the biome specific mobs (llamas, polar bears, pufferfish, etc.) are always the last ones to spawn."
Confirmed for 18w22c.
Rabbits should spawn as follows:
1. deserts - 100% gold rabbits
2. taiga, mega taiga, & flower forests - 50% brown fur, 40% salt & pepper fur, and 10% black fur
3. cold taiga and ice plains - 80% white fur and 20% black and white fur
They will also spawn in "hills" and "mutated" variants of these biomes.
The rabbits in the #3 group are spawning fine. The rabbits in #1 & #2 group are no longer spawning anywhere that I have looked. I found some basic brown rabbits in 18w22b, but none in 18w22c.
And still no ocelots in any jungles. (I'm trying to get MC-127156 reopened for this issue.)

If you clear out the trees, spawning works like expected.
Still in 18w19a.
Couldn't find a single ocelot or a parrot after searching for 30 minutes.
They might just be very very rare though.
Still in 18w21a.
Looked for an hour in the jungle for parrots and ocelots. Nothing found except the normal animals.
Protip: don't waste an hour on this. Use the /kill command and it will tell you how many entities of your chosen type have died, if any.
The parrots are back in 18w22a, but I still can't find any ocelots. Also some of the rabbits are missing as per
