The Bug:
When equipped (and fired with a bow) the arrow's bullet point is supposed to be black like flint is (because of the new crafting recipe) and not white.
The tip comes from Indev 20100130, when the crafting recipe had iron as the bullet point and not flint. The texture is outdated as of Alpha v1.0.14.
Even if a lazy texture bug has stayed in the game for this long, it's still a bug.
