Can confirm in 21w18a
Confirmed in 21w19a. Was killed by a Zombie Pigman right as I was about to teleport, my corpse got sent to the Overworld portal, and I was unable to select either Respawn or Title Screen. I restarted the game and still could not select either button, and was teleported back to the Nether. Now, it seems the portal cooldown has properly applied, and I am stuck in the Nether. Happy to provide the world files. I've attached images of both states.
Confirmed in 21w19a. Same as DarthMewtwo, also tried different methods to fix it, such as restarting the computer. You can see my information -

MC-225725Does this really affect 1.16.5? It's listed as affected but I don't think it's really affected.
user-c84db you are right it doesn't affect 1.16.5 though keep in mind for the future to test the affected versions instead of making accusations

Managed to rescue my world! Monkeying around with my player .dat files didn't seem to do anything (I tried setting my health to 20, my invulnerability state to 1, moving my position out of the portal, and combinations of the above) but the respawn button randomly blinked a couple times after rebooting the game so I was able to click it quickly. Good luck to others!
This report has too little info. Here is my post with a lot more info, that was a duplicate of this one
I jumped into my nether portal, and as it was teleporting me in a baby zombie killed me. I tried to click the respawn button, but it was greyed out. The title screen button was greyed out as well. I was on multiplayer LAN so my friend smashed the portal, and I could respawn. This was in the latest snapshot, 21w19a. We had keepinvetory set to "true". I was tipped over on my side, as if I had died, but I wouldn't disappear. When my friend used his sword on me it made the " attack" noise. Similar to hitting someone in creative mode. The hitbox was upright though.
