Water Particles when sprinting on the edge of blocks / falling down besides water
If an entity sprints on a solid block near the water block, you will see the water block particle, instead of the block the entity is standing on.

Yes it is. Both issues are caused by the way minecraft checks the block you are standing on. Classifying these as different bugs would be like splitting
MC-76556into a separate report for each mob.KingSupernova is right. When the center of the player / entity is over the corner of the block, the block below the center of the player is checked.
