Clusters of dripstone (stalagmites) tend to generate abnormally frequent with thickness "tip" on tall caves
As the summary says, pointed dripstone clusters tend to generate too much frequently with thickness "tip" (smallest) on really big caves. From what I've noticed, it occurs when these clusters mostly don't have stalactites above them within a noticeable range, but i might be wrong tho. This doesn't happen on ceiling clusters or inside small caves (at least from what I've seen).
Observed result
Clusters of stalagmites generate only "tips" on most of the floor of big/tall caves.
Expected result
Pointed dripstone with size variation, like how they generate on the ceiling or inside small caves.
How to reproduce
- Generate a single biome world of dripstone caves.
- Explore on spectator mode, try to find big noise caves.
- You might notice how most of the time, dripstone clusters generate with thickness "tip" in these caves.
- Alternatively, you can go to the surface of the world and see how most of pointed dripstone generate as tips.

On the ceiling, this doesn't seem to happen as much.

The Bug
The pointed dripstone clusters tend to generate too much frequently with thickness "tip" (smallest) on really big caves. This doesn't happen on ceiling clusters or inside small caves. This was fixed on Java 1.18 pre-release (MC-235567)
How to Reproduce
1. Find a dripstone cave
2. Explore around.
3. Compare the seed and coordinates with Java ones.
Observed Result
Clusters of stalagmites only generate with the "tips" on most of the floor of big/tall caves.
Expected Result
Stalagmites generate with size variation, like how pointed dripstones generate on the ceiling or inside small caves.
Can confirm this, since the dripstone stubbles bug MC-235567 has been fixed and the dripstone caves look like to what it was shown in Minecraft Live 2020, I can only hope that this bug will get fixed and the lush caves would look like to what was initially shown at Minecraft Live 2020.

I can confirm that this is an issue.
