MC-243152Slimes spawn in "Redstone Ready" superflat worlds
Pretty much the title. To reproduce, create a "redstone ready" superflat world on normal difficulty, and watch the slimes spawn on. This seems like an unintentional side effect, since redstone ready worlds are supposed to be devoid of such spawns.

Pretty much the title. To reproduce, create a "redstone ready" superflat world on normal difficulty, and watch the slimes spawn on. This seems like an unintentional side effect, since redstone ready worlds are supposed to be devoid of such spawns.
It's a result of changed world height. Previously top layer of redstone ready preset was y level 56 where slimes do not spawn. In 1.18 the same preset generates top layer at y level -8 (64 blocks lower) where slimes can spawn. It would require to alter the preset (add more sandstone layers) to fix this.
