The player's hitbox can be seen through the crafting table menu
in a small window of minecraft, the crafting table search menu goes over the crafting grid, with hitboxes turned on (F3 + b) you can see the hitbox of that little version of you through the overlapping search menu.

Entities displayed inside a GUI screen all render entirely behind their hitboxes, instead of inside them making it more difficult to make out the entity properly. This affects entities such as; horses, llamas, camels, armor stands inside a cartography table, and the player. This behavior also did not exist in previous versions, though the exact version where this behavior started is unknown.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Enable hitboxes using F3 + B
- Do one of the following:
- Open a cartography table GUI
- Ride a horse, camel, or llama, and open it's inventory
- Open the player's inventory
Observed Behavior:
All the entities will render as expected, but all their hitboxes will be rendered over the entity models.
Expected Behavior:
The hitbox lines would not be visible when they are positioned behind the entity. This behavior is expected because entity hitboxes function this way in normal gameplay, as shown:

I can't reproduce, with hitboxes on I don't see it in the inventory
The reason [Mod] tryashtar could not reproduce this issue is very likely because their graphics settings were set to "Fabulous!". If set to any other option, hitboxes should be visible in the inventory. I can also confirm this issue.
