Parity issue: There is no dedicated colormap texture for the mangrove swamp biome
The bug
The mangrove swamp biome is one of a handful of biomes which strays from the usual grass.png and foliage.png colormaps. In Bedrock Edition, it has its own colormap, but in Java Edition, it does not, creating a disparity.
This is a valid parity issue as mangrove swamps were added in 1.19, far beyond the 1.15 cutoff for parity reports.
These colormaps appear to have been added in the Nether Update, making this a valid parity issue.
How to fix
Instead of hardcoding the colours for mangrove swamps, introduce the colormap file from Bedrock Edition and use it instead. Attached is the file directly from Bedrock Edition, alongside a version with all unused pixels removed (MC-276842).

How is this a feature request? Neither of those reports were dismissed as such. Mojang could also easily consider this to be valid and the other two not to be, as was done for
MC-269437versus MC-270766.From [Mojang] slicedlime: "We provide no parity guarantees on implementation details or resource pack capabilities." In other words, only issues which affect gameplay can be considered parity issues. (I think this is fairly clear-cut, but if you know of any edge cases feel free to share them here and I will ask for clarification.)
This is less to do with parity and more to do with potential differences in resolution, but there are oddities which may be worth addressing, such as
MC-269437being a feature request compared to MC-273060 being triaged, orMC-275238being a feature request versusMC-242092,MC-242395,MC-242396,MC-242397,MC-242592,MC-248562,MC-250985andMC-264467all being fixed outright and many more remaining triaged.Perhaps there are other weird cases specifically relating to parity but I can't think of any currently.
Thank you for your report!
