Clipping Errors / Z-fighting in Stained Glass
There are graphical errors happening between stained_glass that is adjacent to normal_glass, causing Z-clipping errors. Also, stained_glass texture can be seen on all sides, allowing this clipping to happen - as in normal_glass, no texture is shown on the other sides except the side on which the player stands.
Update by [Mod] Ezekiel:
This now only happens with glass panes per my observations in the center. Because they changed that Stained glass showed its textures on all 6 faces most of these issues were resolved.

Yep, please no nighttime screenshots. With the little description given, I assume this being a dublicate of MC-34644.
Isn't this a dublicate of MC-34644?
Now, is that a dublicate of MC-34644 or not?
oops, I edited that. z-fighting is not fixed but it is with the translucent blocks, though according to Ezekiel it is not fixed (MC-34644) I just don't know where

confirmed
this also happens with slabs/stairs and ice
I hope they're just going to remove the back texture, I liked it the way it was.
A perhaps clearer screenshot
it is... sort of fixed. Since the back texture of blocks are removed there's no z-fighting anymore. But it's still possible to make the back side visible by being right inside a block when it's created. Using /setblock ~ ~1 ~ ice
when you look at this image:

the block I'm looking at is placed using this command. You can see z-fighting near the stairs block

It's still concern the current Minecraft version 1.8.8
The bug happen on stained glass
Please provide new screenshots.
An image worth 1000 words. So I've created a .gif!
I've built a wall of withe stained glass with a floor of orange stained glass. It can be clearly seen that there is a "glitch" between the withe and the orange stained clay
Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.10.2, or 16w42a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time.
