Killing an End Crystal with /kill damages the Ender Dragon
The bug
Using commands to kill end crystals damages the ender dragon.
How to reproduce
- Make sure you have cheats enabled
- Turn off mob griefing:
/gamerule mobGriefing false - Summon an end crystal and an ender dragon
- When the dragon's using the healing beam, run:
/kill @e[type=end_crystal]
→ The crystal will vanish but the ender dragon will lose health

Ender crystal might damage the ender dragon when the ender dragon is recovering health from an exploded ender crystal.
he /kills it, he doesn't destroy it
Surely intended. Killing and destroying are the same thing. If the explosion does not appear, that might be a bug but as it is it is definitely intended.
killing causes no explosion, no explosion should mean no damage.
I don't think it's intended, up to mojang/moderators to decide
Is this still an issue in the current Minecraft Snapshot 15w47c or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
