Does MC-89087 describe your issue? (are the buttons grayed out?)

Does this occur without the usage of resource packs?
Can confirm without resourcepack too, it only happens when there is no previous output and output is turned on
It happens with default resource pack as well as other resource packs, I just said that, why ask again?
Confirmed with the default resource pack. If the output is disabled, the output bar still displays briefly when the interface is opened.
Sorry, forgot to mention the resource pack thing lol
Cannot reproduce in 16w43a.
Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.10.2, or 16w43a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time. If you are the owner/reporter of this ticket, you can modify the affected version(s) yourself.
This has been fixed in 21w03a. I attached two images: one demonstrating a fixed version, the other demonstrating a bugged version.
