Steps to Reproduce:
- Enable subtitles in your accessibility settings.
- Play the ender dragon death sound by using the command provided below.

- Watch your subtitles overlay closely.
Observed Behavior:
Subtitles can disappear before sound events have finished playing.
Expected Behavior:
Subtitles would disappear once sound events have finished playing.

So are subtitles...
Subtitles only lasting for a few seconds is WAI, see MC-93295. Subtitles are only shown upon starting a new sound event call, asking that to change (e.g. showing "Music plays" repeatably for a single instance of the music sound event triggering) is a change request and not a bug.

confirmed, I noticed this a good amount of times when adding a subtitle to a music event and then playing the sound, the subtitle disappeared after 3 seconds, the sound stopped only after 5 minutes
I don't see a reason for why there should be a permanent line for a longer sound file.
because the hard hearing (not deaf) can miss the message and then think "what the heck it this sound?"
Also for deaf people, if they look away from the screen for a moment. The sound still plays but they have no idea.
