Launcher opens up on nonexistent monitor
I recently installed the new Minecraft launcher when I had my 2ed monitor. Then the monitor broke and I disconnected and everything. Ever since this new launcher update, this has been happening. It still thinks that its still connected and launches on there. Not sure how. Nothing else on my desktop does this. Only Minecraft.

However, this issue is a Duplicate of MCL-6544 or MCL-6629.
It will be linked to this report. If you have additional information, please add it to that report.
Please search before reporting, as it's likely that one exists already.
Also some other applications have been doing the same thing.
That's an indicator that this is not a problem with the Minecraft Launcher, but rather with your computer setup.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MCL-6544, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket it would be appreciated.
If you haven't already, you might like to make use of the search feature to see if the issue has already been mentioned.
As a temporary workaround I was able to right click the task bar and select show open windows, and then selecting it showed it on the screen properly. This is on windows 10 btw. Hope that helps!

This sounds like more of a Windows-related issue than Minecraft.
Why doesn't it happen with other programs then? If it is a microsoft windows issue?
This issue will be fixed in the next version of the launcher. You should be able to test the fix by enabling beta versions in the "Settings" menu.
